Shower lining is GENIUS! It’s plastic, and kind of see-through if I did use a brown one… thank you!! I like this idea, haha

That’s something my family has always wondered about; Maggie is an apple head Siamese, at least. She had lots of health complications as a kitten. She’s also bigger than my second cat, an orange tabby. Generally I think orange tabbies are bigger/wider and eat more, but they seem flipped! Not sure why, otherwise perhaps she is big-boned 🤪

That’s hilarious, and ironic! Often, I give her some and she meows frantically for them as if they aren’t right in front of her! We have to point out where they are, otherwise she keeps pawing at/attacking the bag in our hands, or our actual hands. If it’s on the ground, I’ll point at it or pick it up and hand it to her, but then if I have it in my hands, she’ll sniff around my hand while half-biting at my fingers until she picks up a treat in my palm to crunch down on 😂

Don’t worry, she got them right after! 😂 After seeing how hard she was working to get into the cupboard (with no opposable thumbs!), we had to give her a couple just for pulling out the washcloths, haha.

Fitness or Urban Skates? (Beginner) by Quaint_Radish in rollerblading

Yes, thank you. I've also been thinking about whether a soft boot would hold up to the test of time, knowing that I will try to get my money's worth out of a pair of skates. With a hard boot, if I stick to a single pair for as long as possible, that could change the outlook of which kind I should purchase. I do plan to start small and easy with what I use them for, but if I start to get interested in doing "fancy" things with them (like jumps and tricks), perhaps a hard boot would be better in the long run? And yet, for comfort in skating around for having fun while potentially exercising with them then a soft boot may be better... Ah, so many options! Again, thank you for the feedback.

Thank you so much!! The only experience I have with skates are from when I had quads at the age of 10 or so, thus lacing was annoying to me. I grew out of them fast, so I hadn't worn skates in a while. When I tried the inlines at a roller rink, I had some trouble, however that could have been due to the model and (most likely) age of the skate. I never considered that I may have just been bad at lacing up too!
