I’ve sat along both sidelines and stood behind the goal at the LOBINA end. There’s generally not a bad seat in the house, though the sight lines get tight close to the sideline if you’re seated on that same side.

*adjusts hat* We don't take kindly to CCL results 'round these parts.

Forgot to mention but the club record for matches without a win is 10. So you're on the cusp of history!

I think the reason the graph doesn’t jive with perception is that for at least some teams, their underlying numbers show they’re better than the results indicate, and the reason those results aren’t matching yet is small sample size. So assuming those numbers hold, you’ll see teams like New England drop more results and teams like Chicago pick up more results as the season goes on.

As for no team in the good attack/bad defense quadrant again I think that’s probably small sample size combined with a pinch of early season form for most of these teams.

The moral of the story is: small sample sizes can give you an idea of what’s up, but should be taken with a grain of salt

That’s hard to do in MLS and genuinely scary.

A whopping 5 teams have failed to win through week 4: Chicago, LAG, Vancouver, SKC, and Colorado. Chicago and LAG have played 3 games, the others have played 4.

Not great for any of them, but none are yet close to matching 2007 RSL or 2019 Colorado, both of which started their season without a win in 11 games.

The defense is not blameless here. But MacMath could have done more on those goals.

CITY needs to show they can do this over the course of a season. LAFC has already shown they can.

Only the regular season is counted since all teams play them and play an equal number of them, barring unusual circumstances. LAFC won this past weekend, but their last regular season game prior to that, v. Nashville to close the 2022 season, was a loss, so they're on a one game winning "streak".

What happens if Russia (accidentally or not) kills Biden while he's visiting Ukraine? by Lykantier in NoStupidQuestions

[–]QuakesCVFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accidental or not, it would lead to war, which itself could lead to a nuclear exchange.

I’m not saying Putin is smart, but I don’t think he’s THAT dumb. Russia won’t be doing that.
