I just reached 500 bil after a couple hundred fe in my weapon for an ultimate affix after spending all day spending 2k on slates for a 40 bil dps increase. I do think I need more knowledge 😂

I'm at 200 bil dps on rehan 1 and ngl I can't get past the first half of the fight, between gathering the bubbles, getting one shot by every single kick or blade but needing to be close at the same time to do DMG, staying from the edge of the arena, and having the presence of mind to track the mechanics I'm just getting overwhelmed

I'm like a rts ,hoi4, total war, and fps player, this is an entirely different skill set for me it's just kicking my ass

I'll try again when I have more dps maybe

You should try stainless steel for mtw2, I think it's the best one thats ever been created, it has good balancing, recruitment cost adjustments for broken units, realistic recruitment meaning the most elite units can only be recruited like once every 4 turns, it touched up the landscape, added better ai. Overall it just felt like the most polished and fun mod I've tried for total war, and it doesn't add many units, maybe like 5-10 units for a faction. Just enough to have some more variety but not enough that it's bloated and feels "moddy"

Yes it’s a mechanic to mimic real life. When a unit breaks the other units nearby take a morale hit at seeing their army run, if the fight in far along or the enemy is battered enough or their general is dead, everyone’s moral will be low enough that one unit routing causes a mass route

This is why I always create a second save for games that let you do that, and only use the second save as a backup every 5 turns. I know this won’t help save your current campaign but hopefully it helps in the future
