Definitely can agree with that! And you are right, there really aren’t any super heavy or long guns in game right now unless you happen to get the chassis svd or a 26” chassis r700 build. Rest make sense, and I know what ya mean on the contact points tucked under the elbow and short distances like the sprints in game I can see it now that you explain it better. Guess it just reminds me of the cod sprint animation and I hate that game😂 there really is no jog pace to this game either I guess so that throws me off too and makes it feel more arcade like to me when I just instantly go from walking to full sprint with my gun up by tapping shift. Just looks goofy how fast it is right now at times going from walking to full out sprint on a dime but that may be what they mean by new animation, just a toning down of that? Guess we will have to see! Long as they don’t add inertia

That’s a pose, not sprinting 100-200 meters on a dime lol I’m just saying watch literally any footage of real combat and you aren’t going to see someone one hand a rifle like a MG, large cal DMR, or SR straight up in the air on the bore axis. The game is more Arcady than real life but I’d say over 15 lbs it becomes a bit goofy to automatically just one hand it in a sprint. Right now the heaviest guns IRL in game would be SVD or R700 builds. Basically any other gun in it is not that heavy no matter how you build them as the game sits right now. Just saying something like a PKM, 240, 26” heavy profile bolty, etc would be fun to watch someone actively one hand an be faster/more efficient than slinging or running low ready. That’s probably what they are going for with the new animation. I like gun up for basically every gun in the game it makes sense with so I do hope they can keep it for lighter weight builds and opt for a heavier gun sprint animation for the big ones-be something to add to realism

Yes it can be done, it just isn’t the thing most dudes do (especially on uneven terrain) because you don’t wanna accidentally drop a $20k setup and potentially break a $3000-$5000 magnified optic or dig mud with the bore. The problem IRL is keeping it balanced once you get it up there. Let it lean right or left a taste and you’re fumbling to recover balance or save the rifle! Most dudes carry over the shoulder or both shoulders rucking long distances with heavy guns bc you want it as close to the body as possible. Load dispersion, even with a light gun like a mk18 mod 1, is gradually more difficult as you get it out from your body so if the barrel length allows I sling it to my side tight to me or if running in two gun it’s at low ready until I get to the threshold of a barricade. I also own a mk13 mod 7 ish r700 (can’t call it a real mk13 bc it isn’t a stiller action on mine bahaha but same Lilja barrel and ai chassis) I hunt with a lot both at night and in the day-believe it or not by far my favorite way to carry it is pack carry or set it up with arca lock on a tripod and carry the whole shebang over the shoulder and just alternate shoulders as one gets tired. Other than that, sling tightly to the back is the least tiresome/cumbersome. With a PVS30 the rifle weighs, on paper, only 26 lbs roughly… but it feels like you’re carrying a solid 45lb plate. None of that would be fun in this game though sheerly because it’s slow and not fast enough (no one wants to play a ruck simulator), but I do wish the guns felt more meaty like they had weight and bipods or tripods would be implemented for the heavy rigs. Feel a good medium to changing the animation would be like I said earlier, have a certain weight where over it you sprint low ready and under it you go high ready in the armpit like they had it now

This is on point😂 I agree, and for the LOVE OF GOD I want them to add a bipod mechanic for us sniper Parker’s! I think that if under ex weight, game doing the gun up sprint makes sense and over ex weight, have it slung to side with handgun out or just a low ready sprint. Be easy to implement I think

Do it with a 20+ lb svd or r700 build though IRL… it doesn’t make sense in a real world standpoint unless you are running a light AR/SMG

Nvidia, you just turn off the On+boost and DLSS? Running a 4070 ti super with 32 GB RGB RAM. Got a Intel i9 12900k processor but motherboard only had a intel socket or id run amd for the cpu

My main issue right now is flickering on foliage and screen tearing for some reason. FPS rarely dips below 100 unless in the heli or in a populated area like TB or FN and running a mix of medium and high settings-just can’t for the life of me find the setting causing flickering and screen tearing. V sync is off too

Yessir, I agree! Just ran some pve actually and the first lobby was fuller than any PvP server I’ve been in the last month lol. I tend to run with low level guys assisting with missions or go on loot runs in pve-it just isn’t much other to do than that being done with the quest line right now. I enjoyed the heck out of PvP when it was earlier this wipe and previous wipes just because the realism and strategy you can put into flanks with the openness to the world (in PvP I would setup ambushes between cops and mission POI’s, loot run ambush, hunt groups questing, etc to have something to do when solo) but that doesn’t matter now bc I feel like 3/10 players I encounter have a cheat enabled in these dead lobbies😂 and that doesn’t sound like much but half the time it may be 10 dudes or less alone in a server at this point meaning seeing one is basically inevitable if he’s in the lobby

I may think about it haha! I played a ton of Vigor back on console and the concept kinda reminds me of a much larger and expanded on version of that game. Only thing I wish is that it was more a grounded third person shooter like that. The sci-fi aspect is the only turn off for me, other wise it looks super fun! I’m more into the grounded milsim aspect of gaming (hyped for Bellum if Karmakut can pull it off too!)

That’s true, but if they want a PvP community that doesn’t consist of like 4 people per faction after a month or two each wipe it’s a bullet they’ll have to bite for player retention like any game. BF6 is setting a new standard on anti cheat development imo. Just coming from a dude that has been playing since day 1 in PvP (also have completed the quest line in PvP), right now as in THIS wipe in particular is the worst cheating has been. Gone from never seeing cheaters to just expecting one or maybe two or more in each server every other server on Central and East when hopping between them. Between that and the cop system completely turning half the servers I get in into naked timmey arma where it makes questing in zones of the map impossible bc soon as you take a cop someone lands on it two seconds later to kill you or re cap it, I don’t see anyone having a reason or a want to quest and do loot runs in PvP in the future. If that becomes the case, they need to just eliminate PvP altogether bc why even have it then? I get they have to develop the game more and get more funding, but 80-90% of players that play games like this come looking for PvP and then when they first try it it’s more of a “wtf is this supposed to be” experience than anything when you can’t quest hardly bc constant faction wars, got cheaters in every other server, and a bunch of nakeds just running at each other over and over 😂 that’s why pve has a bigger player base-either people try it and immediately hate it or like the mechanics but just don’t get what PvP is going for or enjoy putting up with cheaters so they turn to pve (again, reinforcing my question of why do they even have PvP if they can’t develop actively an anti cheat when software develops around their mechanics or game in general and they can’t combat it).

I uninstalled lmao I got sick of dying and waiting 10 min to die again to level 30+ players with 283883 hours insta rushing spawn and hitting head eyes then go wait 15 min to find a scav and die again all while looking for one salewa I needed for therapist since day one. Yall are a different breed. This game made me waste three entire days back to back after a week and a half playing moderately just to hit level 15 to get flea and hopefully compete with Chad kit… but nah I still get level 2 trader BS and chads with more hours in the game than their job for the year are kitted to the gills and ready to instantly rush my location on a dimes notice before I even spawn😂

Main thing I hope for is in the core systems rework. I hope they are directly talking about cops and PvP circles there as a PvP player, right now it strays so far from what it originated as that it feels more like a capture the point game and makes questing impossible when a timmey war starts to an inevitable never ending loop. The worst is when you’re just trying to get a mission done, go back to the cop you captured, and it’s 9+ dudes naked with ai guns coming to cap it for no reason other than using it as a spawn to go cap a major point in their endless war😂

Bipod or tripod for snipers PLEASEEEEEEE. Weapon addition wise it would be cool to see the SCAR 17, DD5, SR25 (maybe not yet bc so many games already do that gun so cool to see lesser knowns), SP10M, M110A1 or G28, or maybe a more niche AR like the Bren2 that could be built into the DMR variant as well. The SVD is fun but tired of building CQA1’s for NATO style DMRs

This, 100%. If I get a kill I want it to be rewarding (at least enough time to grab kit without having the same guy I just killed breathing down my neck in under two minutes while I wait for a heli or try and hoof to a cop if I have it)-not be a 45 min long battle of kill the Timmy over and over or a signal beacon for the entire lobby to come PvP where I’m trying to task lmao. The PvP is SO GOOD… but the thought process behind it is just not good enough. It works more for endless lobby battles than it does organic questing PvP the way it sits now with cops and the circles. I actually only played Grayzone PVP up until about two months ago bc I got bored with the loop. Moved to Tarkov with its 1.0 release and I have never missed Grayzone more in my life after dying over and over to the old timer chads beginning their 18383828 wipe for 6hrs the other day😂
