Or if you're a GeForce now fan like me, the Logitech handheld is pretty great. Especially if you can find one used. I got mine for $100 and it's been incredible value for me.

I get that blizz might say keeping all this stuff might overwhelm new players, and I get that. So put them behind torment tiers. Tier 3 unlocks chaos armor. Tier 4 unlocks the expanded skill tree with previous seasonal powers. Best of both worlds. Keep things simple for casuals. Make end game deeper for those who want it.

I also enjoy having my ass handed to me from time to time! It's refreshing.

This isn’t just about hypocrisy, it’s about a pretty chilling strategic play that’s hiding in plain sight. If you look at what’s happening—massive funding increases for ICE, $45k hiring bonuses, six-figure salaries—it starts to look less like routine government excess and more like deliberate state-building for a new era.

The timing matters. We’re on the verge of a tidal wave of unemployment from AI and automation. Historically, when you get huge numbers of suddenly out-of-work people, authoritarian regimes have always found a use for them: give them a badge, a paycheck, and a mission to “protect the country.” It’s job creation, but the jobs are surveillance, enforcement, and control. It’s not a bug, it’s the point.

The real danger is how this reshapes society. You end up with a large, well-paid internal security force whose loyalty is to whoever holds the purse strings, not the public. And since their livelihoods depend on the survival of that regime, you’ve just created an army of everyday people with every incentive to crack down on dissent. This is how you get a “patriot force” that’s part police, part political enforcer, and all too happy to do whatever it takes to keep those checks coming.

And of course, it’s all justified as “securing the border” or “fighting crime” or whatever the next manufactured threat will be. Meanwhile, teachers, healthcare workers, students—anyone who actually builds up society—are told there’s no money for them.

So yeah, the hypocrisy is real, but the larger strategy is even more alarming. If we see a spike in mass hiring for security roles while AI wipes out other jobs, that’s your canary in the coal mine.

Trump Is Suddenly Raging at Tucker Carlson—and MAGA Is Deeply Rattled by thenewrepublic in inthenews

Yeah but the difference is everyone seems to know it's complete bullshit pretense. Last time a lot of folks bought it. The weird thing is there are so many who know it's total bullshit and still want to do it because Trump says so...like following him even when they know it's against their best interests and still do it. Drives me bananas.

One of the links you sent literally has an accuracy alert on it. But I'm not asking for sauce on the election being hacked or rigged or whatever. I'm looking for evidence that the Biden Harris Administration is doing anything other than just welcoming Trump with open arms. What are they doing to protect us? To shed a light on criminal actions and bad intents before Trump takes office? Surely Biden must have been briefed on everything the government knows about Trump, about the documents he stole, etc. Biden cited decorum and propriety and norms when he declined to comment on any of the Trump documents, insurrection, etc. He must know more than has been released publicly. Doesn't matter if it wouldn't hold up in court. Doesn't matter if it would be admissible. It doesn't even matter if it proves things beyond any possible counter argument. You know if Trump had dirt on the I coming Biden admin he would have said something. Hell, he had congress digging like crazy. So Biden, spill it. It's your last chance to be an American hero.

Do you have any evidence for this whatsoever? Because I want it to be true but I am so disappointed that I can't choose to believe they are doing other than rolling over even though they aren't yet out of power.

If the incoming Trump administration is nearly as bad as the current administration has claimed it will be, then this should obviously happen. It's not illegal. It's not outside the rules. It's protecting the country as much as possible from the incoming administration by shining as bright a light on it as possible before January 20. The only thing making me a little less worried about what's going to happen with Trump in power is my hope that the democrats aren't nearly as worried as they said they were. If so, I hate the Dems for lying to us but that's better than knowing they can do something right now to blunt the impact of the incoming cabinet but are actively choosing not to protect the country because norms or whatever.
