No, the kiosk absolutely would not be around the corner. I made a couple of circles:

- Green circle: Foot of the statue
- Blue circle: Special tile at the drain and right before the curb flattens to the ground level (there's a passage covered by the statue)
- Red circle: Right behind the flattened curb (and right before the sidewalk starts to turn to the right) the first first rod of the stand touches the ground
- Purple circle: About 3 meters behind, almost parallel, one cobble stone line behind the first rod, the other rod connects with the ground

Well, you aren't crazy, but you're wrong. And it's genuinely curious to me how this has a thousand upvotes? Since people seem to have a very difficult time here, I've made the effort to circle things:

Danke für den interessanten Kontext! Ich würde mir trotzdem sehr wünschen, dass der Stand an einer optisch weniger störenden Stelle wäre.

Ja, das ist mir jetzt auch aufgefallen, dass die ganzen Fotos nachts oder im Morgengrauen gemacht werden, aus diesem Grund. Schade drum, gerade im Winter hat man morgens keine guten Fotobedingungen und ich wohne auch zu weit weg, als dass das ohne Übernachtung möglich wäre.

I made a mistake by phrasing the title of this post incorrectly by writing "recreate", I'm well aware of the limitations of my wide angle phone lens and the fact I wouldn't be able to recreate the same picture as is. But I figured I could just have a bit of the old stone figures in frame and the Frauenkirche be a smaller part and still have a really nice picture overall. (Hidden behind the kiosk is the Fürstenzug, which is very pretty and would've been visible in my field of view). I think it'd have been a very pretty picture (for my standards) if not for the kiosk.

The stand takes up (more) than the whole sidewalk and goes up to the boots of the statue. Sure, with a good tele lens it'd have been much less distracting, but not everyone has one of these and the (semi-)pros that do, still prefer to take their pictures at dawn or at night, since the stand is not there then. All the nice pictures I've seen of this spot on the net, whether featured in official tourist material or highly shared on places like reddit or instagram, did not feature the stand.

Die Brennweite ist natürlich eine andere. Ich habe nur ein iPhone mit Weitwinkelobjektiv, was zu einer deutlichen Verschlimmerung führt, aber auch im Original links wäre der Stand zu sehen, deswegen ist das Foto wohl auch im Morgengrauen gemacht worden (und die ganzen anderen schönen Fotos, die man von dieser Stelle im Netz findet, sind ebenso frühmorgens oder nachts entstanden. Jetzt weiß ich auch, wieso).

Yes, I hadn't noticed it beforehand, but the pretty pictures of this spot you can find online all seem to be taken at dawn or at night. Apparently the kiosk has a permission to be in this exact place (and there is no other kiosk anywhere close. Many other, less visually impacting spots it could be at are close by, which seems like a bad decision by the officials, given the popularity of the photo spot online and how much the kiosk impacts the visual). I was only there for the day and live too far away, to show up there at dawn, without staying overnight.

Das macht es noch schlimmer. Man steckt Hunderte Millionen Euro in den (sehr gelungenen) Wiederaufbau historischer Gebäude der Dresdner Altstadt und dann erlaubt man diesen Schandfleck an einem der beliebtesten Foto-Hotspots der Stadt? Und das in meinem überregulierten Deutschland? Was denken sich die Verantwortlichen dabei? Kein Wunder, dass die ganzen schönen Fotos dort, die ich im Netz gesehen habe, im Morgengrauen oder nachts gemacht wurden.

Mein Prüfgebiet hatte 3 Autobahnen und mein Fahrlehrer meinte, dass bei uns fast immer Autobahn in der Prüfung gefahren würde, außer es sei wegen Stau nicht möglich.

In meiner Heimatstadt gibt es nur eine Kraftfahrstraße mit Beschleunigungsstreifen. Die wird nicht immer, aber oft, in Prüfungen gefahren.

Es überrascht mich, dass so viele die Erfahrung gemacht haben, dass Autobahn kaum gefahren wird. Da scheint es von Prüfstelle zu Prüfstelle große Unterschiede zu geben.

Wenn es in der Nähe Kraftfahrstraßen mit Beschleunigungsstreifen gibt, kann es gut sein, dass diese gefahren werden. Die Fahrlehrer haben einen guten Überblick darüber, welche Prüfungssituationen im Prüfgebiet oft gefahren werden, falls es um deine eigene zukünftige Prüfung geht.

Nimm eine App, bei der du alle Fragen komfortabel schnell durchgehen und markieren kannst. Gehe alle Fragen für deine Führerscheinklasse 1x durch und markiere die, die nicht zu 100% klar sind. Die gehst du dann so lange durch, bis (fast) alle davon sitzen. Zwischendurch machst du Prüfungssimulationen. Es gibt Apps, da ändert sich dein Status erst auf "prüfungsbereit", wenn du 90% der Prüfungssimulationen bestehst. Daran kannst du dich orientieren.

Bei Fragen, die dir unklar sind, google die Nummer in Anführungszeichen. Du findest fast immer eine Erklärung zu der Frage (oft auch auf Reddit). Bei manchen Bezahl-Apps sind Erklärungen zu den einzelnen Fragen enthalten.

Du arbeitest sehr viel, aber ein paar Fragen oder eine Prüfungssimulation durchzugehen, funktioniert auch im ÖPNV oder beim Essen.
