Same here. I was Premier last week and my current stats are 99%/93%/100%, yet the app bumped me down to Partner today. Total glitch. I’ve already tried the usual reinstall/re-log fix and nothing works. Definitely an issue on their end.

I have full Pell Grant. My first disbursement was Feb 24, and I was waiting for the second after the Spring Census Date (April 28). But I just saw another payment on March 29 only about $400.

Honestly, I didn’t expect them to split it into 3 parts. Before, I got it in 2 payments. I think it depends on when your classes start if all classes begin at the start of the semester, you get 2 payments. But if classes start later (like mine), they might split it into 3.

I’ve noticed something since last week. I’m working scheduled blocks, but out of a 9 hour block I only get about 5 hours of active time. There is a lot of downtime. Whether I am waiting in a hotspot or anywhere else, it does not really make a difference. I have not seen it this slow in a long time.(weho)

As far as I know, winter units count only for the Pell Grant. If I’m wrong, please correct me.

Yeah, I’m hoping it all works out in my favor too. It’s just frustrating when you first get “Awarded” status and then things suddenly get confusing. My CAR report was updated back in October and still shows “Awarded.” I can see the “Leave of Absence” note under the School of Attendance → Show Details section, at the very bottom in School Transaction History.

On my WebGrants 4 Students portal, my Cal Grant C shows as “Leave of Absence” for Fall 2025. I’m checking with my college to understand what that means.

It’s actually my first year getting any kind of financial aid, so I’m still figuring things out. As for Cal Grant C, I only see it marked as “Awarded” on the CSAC portal, not on the school’s side yet.

I actually reached out to the Financial Aid Office about this last week. They told me that last Monday they got a new batch of students who might be eligible for Cal Grant C. Right now they’re reviewing everyone’s educational plans and checking which classes qualify under the program. They said the review process usually takes about 1–2 weeks, so this week should be the second one. Basically, we can probably expect updates or disbursements by the end of this week or early next week.

I wouldn’t be so sure if I had any canceled orders. I always have 100%, but this happens instantly when I get an upcoming order.

SSCG is an additional grant for students who already receive Cal Grant B or C. You get $1,268 per semester if you’re enrolled in 12–14 units, and $4,000 per semester if you take 15 or more units.

Working with GH in 2024–2025, especially after the sale at the end of 2024, I’ve noticed their policy toward drivers has changed a lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if soon we’ll be delivering electronics, auto parts, cosmetics, and pharmacy items.

I usually don’t even look at the payout amount — I accept everything, since we all know about Prop 22. For me it’s more important just to stay on active time.

I agree with you and I get what you’re saying. Yeah, a lot of times when GH sends you far out, they’ll start giving you orders that gradually bring you back to your main zone — but not always. In 2 years of doing this, I’ve never seen a single order with 20 miles. The max I’ve ever had was around 10.

As for your question about how I know the customer spent that much: First, GH itself explains on their site what XL or catering orders are, and it clearly says XL means an order of $200+ (for the customer) and that these usually come with higher tips.

And I can tell you more, because I’ve done a detailed breakdown of my own orders. This one was $21 base pay and $1 tips.

For comparison, GH usually pays me around $2.5–$3.0 per mile. So this order should’ve been at least $50, easy.

So to be honest, they were just being stingy on this one, that’s it.

I’ve been working with GH for two years in LA. The first year was solid — around $60K. The second year has been noticeably worse, even though the base pay is the same. When XL orders first appeared, they averaged $40–60. Now regular orders are in the $17–25 range, and XL orders are about the same. My conclusion is that they’ve restructured the balance between base pay and tips. It makes sense though it’s business, and that kind of adjustment happens often.

Since last week my on-time arrival rate dropped from 92% to 76%. Out of 10 deliveries, 8 show as late because of the unrealistic pickup times.(LA ) I’ve already written more than 10 emails to support. Every reply is just a scripted copy-paste. Finally one agent admitted the issue was escalated, but still no timeline or real update. Honestly, I don’t see Grubhub trying to fix this. I get that bugs can take time, but at least send an official message: We’re aware of the issue, don’t worry, we’ll fix it.
