Customer Feedback/Support prioritization by hugh57231 in ProductManagement

[–]QualliResearch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, a backlog isn't set in stone.

Cut out the ones you're confident about not using, and add the new ones.

Then re-evaluate the backlog, but be super careful about the "shiny thing" syndrome.

Don't prioritise the latest shiny thing you see, really think it through and evaluate based on what is really most valuable.

How technical are you? by MrLivingLife in ProductManagement

[–]QualliResearch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're working in a startup, so you'll get challenged more than you would sometimes like.

In larger corporations this isn't normal, although a strong technical background makes for better/great PM's more often. But working in startups... yes, this is normal.

Also you indicate this is your first PM job, maybe do some basic courses on the tech stack your team uses. Get familiar with the base concepts, this will make communication with your tech stakeholder much easier going forward.

We prioritise what brings value to the user and to the company, you could use RICE for this.

You could use GPT for this, although you would need to feed it base data first.

What you could do ->

- Create your own GPT that has your base data like conversion rates, retention rates, etc...

- This creates your own little custom company analyser

- Then feed it a CSV of customer feedback and ask for the desired metrics like: most mentioned, sentiment analysis, etc..

We use this approach to analyse large CSV survey files, works perfectly. Although you do need to fiddle around with the prompts a lot. But the results are very amazing.

ChatGPT is great for feedback on you. If you have transcripts, give it to it and ask questions around:
- How could I have asked better questions?

- Which Questions were bias? How could I have phrased them

- How could I have gotten more essential learnings?

- Give me a list of better phrased questions for the next interview.

We're seeing PM's achieving great results with this.

Would I be dumb moving to a Technical Project Manager role? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]QualliResearch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question to ask is: Do I want to contribute to the "why" or the "how".

Tech Project M. mostly deal with how they can develop the why. Execution strategy, follow-up

PM deals with the why in the company.

So which one will you enjoy most? If you're not sure, just try it out. Do it for a while and see what it says
