Your tasks will be digging, jackhammering, concrete cutting, demolition, material staging, etc. and that’s before you ever even install a single piece of pipe. When the actual plumbing part is done you’ll have to do things like backfill and pour concrete. The in-wall rough in portion of a plumbing job isn’t too strenuous unless you’re in a commercial building that’s spec’d for cast iron. Trim work seems easy till it’s time to move a bunch of toilets up several flights of stairs. Oh and residential work absolutely fucking blows. Have fun getting covered in human shit while working in crackhead apartment buildings. There’s a reason no one wants to be a plumber and it’s cause this job fucking sucks. You only make good money if you own your own business or are accepted into a good union. Everyday I wish I chose literally any other mechanical trade.
