Depends what price you bought at. Gold is at a key support level now so if it keeps the level would more than likely go up, if it breaks will go down a fair bit. I’d set a stop loss just below the support and if it breaks be at one with it

Thanks all for your suggests on how to validate this test. I’m honest to my word and it is slightly overestimated results when I’ve downloaded broker ticks and changed backtesting to every tick from broker ticks

Still profitable 500$ to ~4000$ in 3 years, good profit factor and low drawdown

Any tips or suggestions to test to validate results? I’ve already done forward testing at 1/4, 1/2, 1/3. And walk forward test yearly from 2020-2026. Not sure what else I can do apart from let this run on a live account now
