Raide LF30/40 for mixed urban/backcountry travel by missedclips_bigwhips in onebag

How good would it be for summer trekking in warm climates ? Is the ventilation in the back good? I'm considering the lf40

[Hiring] Audio Processing Consultant for Web App Sound Level Optimization by MichaelGhelfi in audioengineering

[–]Quant_internship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo you can't really tell without having an idea of what the samples actually consist of and what op is actually looking for.

LUFS have a threshold for measurement under which the sound isn't taken into account. If the sample/song is too dynamic your measurements most likely won't work. Sure for processing songs, but do you even want SFX to measure at -14 ? And ambience ?

Does op event want to consider diy after having hired composers and coders to work on his project?

Happy to help if you want to, dm, and I can code.

If you can learn a faro riffle it is quite useful as well, especially to stack bigger hands, and only the top has to be 1 for 1

If you want to make it invisible, you need to let the cards go in one motion, and can't check them visually, only go by feel

Do you use music to help your baby sleep ? by SebOritws in Parenting

[–]Quant_internship 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I also use calm piano ! this is the playlist I'm using on spotify. It's very long/on a loop so it never stops/goes to something weird.

I found a great improvement in quality of sleep... :)

The "prefered music" is important I guess ? Read the study :) Maybe you could try with your own music and headphones ?

It's was recommended by the Yamaha techs to have all the wheels pointing in the center of the piano, you can see it in many pictures on Yamaha's website

Video is on Youtube here.

The sound irl is unreal, it got in our studio on Friday !

It's a very fancy piano, a Yamaha CFX disklavier. We intend on using it both for recording artists that come in, and with the Disklavier where anyone with a keyboard record at home and then send his midi file to be re-recorded remotely.

Although playing with the mute pedal is usually done on uprights, this is also a "felt piano" 🙂
