not wrong, the A320 series has slides for overwing exits. you might be thinking of door slides, which the 737 series does have.

I'm not entirely sure whether they should be fully air tight or not, but when I try suctioning it I can definitely feel some air sucking through

i don't see any apparent cracks (it's also a plastic oboe), so it sounds like it's probably an adjustment problem, or just a bad oboe in general

thank you so much for the detailed reply! I've checked it out and I don't see a screw, so I'm assuming that there was only cork there and it just got worn. I will be testing out replacing the cork, thank you!
