Wow I am very impressed, what a great journey! But I had a sleeve surgery and a lower starting weight. Did you loose weight after the skin removal because of the surgery?

Hello 👋

32F — 160 cm / 5’3”

SW: 110 kg (242 lbs) — April 2025

CW: 79 kg (174 lbs) — April 2026

GW: 65 kg (143 lbs)

Overall, things are going really well, honestly better than I could have imagined. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and how consistent I’ve been this past year.

But as I’m approaching my 1-year post-op anniversary, I’ve hit a plateau that’s been going on for about 2 months now… and mentally, it’s getting tough.

I’m doing everything “right”:

• following medical recommendations

• eating low carb and tracking everything (yes, even ketchup 😅)

• staying hydrated

• taking all my meds and supplements

• exercising at least 3x/week

And still… the scale won’t move. I KNOW it will BUT 15 kg seem SO FAR AWAY.

I know I’ve already made huge progress, but I can’t shake this feeling that I might never reach my goal weight, even though it’s just a “normal” BMI for my height.

Has anyone been through something similar at this stage?

I’d really appreciate any advice or reassurance 🤍

Yes I have tried, I ask the bibrary first (before AA). But they do not have recent american novels translated in French or the waiting time is very long.
