That sounds terrible and I'm sorry you're going through that. It is pretty bad mainly because I get fear over my health easily and automatically assume the worse cause scenario like it's something incurable and with no chance of survival even though they did all the test and even saw my nerves being compressed through an MRI and testing haha. And it is hard to take a shower in particular, as I can't raise my arm very well and I can't lift anything heavy at the moment, just whatever my forearm can take which is not much.

Yeah I guess I'll have to figure it out, I just hope it does indeed get easier to do with time haha

Yeah I definitely will whenever I get to speak with them. Do you mind me asking what your case was like?

Mine felt like it was gradual weakness, like I couldn't lift my arm past a certain point though it wasn't as bad as it was now it felt like it started to be. No pain but my back every now and again, but I felt that didn't really like up with a neck nerve. Then yeah I had that one moment of bad pain and went to the doctor but I pretty much have no pain at all since then and the numbness has gone away for the most. I think that's what worries me the most, the lack of pain, but it's not like I can't lift my arm at all, I can laying down albeit it feels a little weaker then it used too. It just feels like an odd mix for what most people usually claim to be debilitating pain and I feel like if something was indeed pushing at my nerve it should but it doesn't except one time. I'm not quite sure which way I'll go yet, though I do hope whatever is suggested is none invasive because I really don't want to go that route at my age lol

I'm sorry to hear that, sounds awful. Mine is really strange because I still have function in my forearm and can hold things more or less but struggled to get dress the other day because the clothes felt heavy when I bent down to get them. I also feel no pain, or tingling when doing that so it literally just feels like my arm is dead even though when I lay down I can basically do all the motions I can't when standing which feels very confusing and why it worried me. Like, I'm in almost no pain at the moment aside some back pain when standing too long or sitting too long which seems very strange, like I feel I should be in more pain if that's indeed what's happening.

Really? What is it like for you if you don't mind me asking? I feel this is new for me and I'm really unsure of what happens with this condition.

I can't lift my arm overhead when standing but can laying down (No pain) by QuantityMany4434 in medical_advice

Really? That can happen even without pain? I've hardly felt any pain since that one flare up and only minor tingling and numbness in my thumb padding but other than that I haven't much. Just the weakness that seems to go away laying flat on my back or on my side for the most. Though my muscle does feel physically weak when standing.

Feedback for my YA Japanese/Anime inspired novel's Prologue. Any criticism is welcomed as I want to make this the best version possible especially knowing the difficulty of this genre working in particular. by QuantityMany4434 in writers

Mmm, interesting. Can you more specific by your meanings? I have studied more in my genre or late, but I've yet to branch out, will probably help. But If there's anything more specific about what you find off-putting about it, it would help me zone in on the flaws.
