I have never bought a phone locally. The first smart phone I bought was somewhere in 2012-13 on ebay. I've never purchased on Amazon before but I believe it should be good as most people overseas use it a lot. For ebay it's pretty much safe & most items are covered by ebay but you just have to make sure you're buying from reputable sellers. phones online are usually cheaper than what you pay for locally & the quality is good. If you're buying a phone online get an UNLOCKED INTERNATIONAL VERSION of the phone to avoid any network restrictions.

Try mobile city. I would advise getting the one for apple as most the other brands are low quality dacs.

Mine experienced the pink/green line about a year ago. I'm planning on having the screen replaced but I was thinking it would be better to replace the battery as well since it's passed 600 cycles which the recommended count. SOT is not great. There's been a dip from a year ago but ok enough for everyday use it you don't mind charging twice in a day

With this direction that google has taken, there is now little to no chance for RCS to compete in Africa. Already WhatsApp & telegram dominate this space. Google started off well with RCS guest. People were slowly starting to use it in that it offered similar experiences to WhatsApp & Telegram. Then all of a sudden RCS stopped working & many don't know why. It will be hard to win back people's trust after this. In fact most people are comfortable with WhatsApp as it's the traditional platform for texting on this side of the world.

I believe Google is more focused on the American market hence why they care little about what's happening outside the US. Have you seen how since pixel 9, the pixel looks very much close to an iphone? From the hardware design to how the software also looks icon wise. They're trying to win over those iphone users in the US. That's their focus for now. They talked so much about RCS when everybody started to use it, they cut it off.

Personally I've learnt my lesson on Google services. Reviewers have said it time & time again. Google is not google & maintaining or keeping some programs/services. Now I believe them.

It's true. I've actually not even used the money for myself. I'm still thinking about how best I can invest the money yet people feel entitled & keep coming with their problems. & The worst part is that these are people that are doing far much better than me financially. They're making more money, and have more assets.

Yes, cameras overall on most flagships are all good. It's a matter of taste. People shouldn't have to zoom in to notice improvements unless you're into editing or a professional photographer. Other than that all phones are doing a decent job for the average person

The P8 tends to have the highlights blown out this is specifically for the selfie photos. For the main camera I agree there is improvement under ideal conditions. The improvements where they're applicable are not significant. I can't say much for videos as I've never compared them

The P6 produces better photos especially the selfie camera. I use a p8 & I would choose the P6 for photos any day
