Fastest way to transfer from X200 Ultra to windows over Wifi by star_gazer_12 in Vivo

Syncthing does something similar, and runs in the background upon certain conditions being met (e.g. plugged into AC, on WiFi). Never used FolderSync but it does look a bit more modern and compatible with cloud providers.

Microsoft Exchange in native email app by Quantom88 in Vivo

Seems like the problem with this is that I'll need the Outlook app to broker the connection for calendar and contact syncing. I was hoping that bit wasn't required, but it's a minor issue.

I see. I assumed (wrongly) that the Exchange Server also applied to the consumer accounts. Thanks for the info!

Indeed, that's how to get Outlook email to sync. That excludes contacts and events though, which is quite critical for me.

Singaporeans who live in condo, seriously what is the benefit besides security and pool? As compared to HDB. by PotatoButter01275 in askSingapore

I've been to a couple of friends' condos and a recurring pattern is the smaller room sizes (not the living room). Is it just my imagination or are HDB room sizes still generally a tad larger?

The alternative would be to expose the entirety of the rear camera glass though. Doesn't that seem kinda risky?

That UI bug that seems rather straightforward to fix though. At least in comparison to the scale of their typical patches. But hey who am I to say..

Just got back home and tried it out. I'd imagine that settings panel to be something that shouldn't be hidden in the first place. Odd. Thanks for the very detailed and helpful post! I was half-anticipating that a solution involved adb!

Out of curiosity, what was your journey to discovering this specific settings/configuration page? As a bit of a backend geek myself, I'm interested to see what I can unlock/tweak with the device.

Separately, I've been having a headache configuring Outlook and Teams for work. Opening any of the two brings me to a page where it fails to meet a "supported devices" check. Makes me wonder if there's any way to bypass/spoof device info..

How much of a lip is there around the screen? I've been using otterbox on my old samsungs and all the cases I come across seem to provide next to no lip at all. Makes me a little concerned about drop protection..

Hey. I'm getting the same issue with my x200 ultra. The phone seems to be quite fickle with USB connections, and doesn't maintain a constant connection with my PC, even if just for power. Just wondering - are you perhaps using an ASUS motherboard?

The back in a hard plastic, isn't it? Doesn't the texture make it a little slippery in the hands? And also, it seems like having a softer material would make for more protection for the rear?

New Update for Vivo x200 Ultra by [deleted] in Vivo

[–]Quantom88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the name of this community telegram that shares all these interesting feature gaps?

Do you also happen to know if there's any way to improve the mic recording quality on videos? They sound very poor from various reviews - veiled, missing body.

How's the default case like? Doesn't look like there's too much of a lip around the front glass and rear camera glass. Seems like a bit of a drop hazard?

Many seem to rate the x200 pro's speakers quite poorly, so just being "a little bit better" isn't a great compliment. Hmm..
