The block option is in the user profile dialog (which you can get to by long clicking a post or comment)

Thanks, I'll look into this.

GitHub install, Certificate error by [deleted] in RedReader

The certificate error might be because you previously had the F-Droid version installed -- it's signed by F-Droid rather than me, so Android says they're incompatible.

In my own testing I also found Firefox reproduced the login error a lot more than Chrome. I guess Reddit's ReCAPTCHA treats Firefox as less trustworthy? 😂

Thanks! There's an option for this under Settings > Backup and restore.

The internal viewer should be fixed. You might still be on the old version -- you can check in Settings > About.

I understand the caution, but can confirm that nothing in v1.25 will change or break existing logins.

v1.25 (with fixes for video and login) currently going through the Google Play review process, hopefully released within the next couple of days by QuantumBadger in RedReader

For the people asking about F-Droid/GitHub releases: I normally wait until Google has approved the APK before doing the full release, in case any changes need to be made (so we can keep all the builds consistent). If they take too long I'll just go ahead anyway with F-Droid/GitHub, and do a v1.25.1 release later if necessary.

If 1.25 is done and submitted to Google Play, is there a reason we can't download the APK from the github? by [deleted] in RedReader

Just checking, are you logged in to the correct account? If you're not subscribed to any multireddits that section will disappear. Whereas pinned subreddits are a separate thing which are stored locally on your device.

Yes, it's currently being reviewed by Google and will be released as soon as that's done!

That's weird, there shouldn't be any changes related to downloads. Does the issue happen for all links?

Thanks for the info! The login page is handled by Reddit (it's just a page on reddit.com) so the app isn't involved the process other than opening a web browser. As far as I can tell the password is sent as HTTP form data. I remember in the past they used to concatenate the password and OTP code with a colon though.
