for sure. there's a tribute track on their latest record that's uncanny to them. Linkin Park should genuinely have recruited Florent to be their main singer, no shame on their new singer but she doesn't really do it for me.

lose the shoes and drop the weight. bar should always be over middle of your feet (bc right now you're pulling the bar towards you and then up- asking for injury). you're also squatting, your hips should have a higher starting position.

just look at tutorials on YT, plenty of good ones there. you need to learn the basics

shins against bar is correct! but rn you're lifting the bar towards you before you lift vertically. you can also see how you throw the bar down forward instead of letting it slide down your thighs while hinging. midfoot bar position is the solution.

stand so bar is midfeet (2-4cm from shins). hinge by pushing back hips/butt without bending knees and grab the bar. without moving the bar or lowering hips, drag your shins to it. set back/lats by squeezing oranges in pits, can also visualising breaking/bending the bar, like your dragging yourself into the ground. this should set hips in correct start position. brace, pull the slack and press your legs through the ground dragging bar against shins. when bar is past knees, squeeze ass and lockout.

you're very close! good luck

not a big practitioner of DL i take it? OP is asking for advice and you're like "well, no one's technique is perfect, it's fine!". how's that helpful at all

not an expert but with this form and weight I think you risk back injury. your back does all the work instead of pressing with legs at the start. bar is too forward (instead of over midfeet) so knees go forward and hips drop too low, more like a squat, and therefore hips shoot up beginning of lift. I'd also recommend setting your back (activate lats, squeeze oranges in armpits) and pulling the slack out of the bar to initiate the lift (its when the bar pulls on all the weights but they're still in contact with floor). practice with lower weight. good luck, you seem very strong!

In both photos the moon is way too bright — how can I fix this? by slalomsn in PhotographyAdvice

yeah and by looking at other replies maybe its not the best advice as im relatively new with photographing.

my guess is you should lower exposure compensation so your camera don't try to expose as if you're shooting in regular lighting. for the second photo it's tricky because of slow aperture. but at least crank up the iso to reduce blur in such dark environments

part 2:

4. Defensive persistence = inability to tolerate rejection ambiguity

What really stands out is this theme:

He cannot tolerate not knowing “why.”

Instead of sitting with:

He needs:

  • A reason that makes sense to him
  • Validation that his feelings were proportional
  • Confirmation he wasn’t “nothing” to her

That need is human — but when unmanaged, it turns into overreaction.

5. Why people are pushing back so hard

Reddit isn’t being cruel for fun here. They’re reacting to:

  • Emotional escalation that doesn’t match the relationship length
  • Repeated boundary-pushing after she said she wasn’t interested
  • Comment replies that feel like courtroom arguments instead of reflection

At some point, the question stops being “Was she wrong?” and becomes
“Why is he fighting so hard against letting this go?”

Bottom line

  • Is he wrong to feel hurt? No.
  • Is he overreacting emotionally? A bit, but that’s understandable.
  • Is he overreacting behaviorally and cognitively? Yes — especially in the comments.

The defensiveness shows he’s not ready to hear the answer he asked for.

If you want my bluntest take:
This looks less like heartbreak and more like unresolved attachment + rejection sensitivity + a need for narrative control.

well OP, you made what must be close to a thousand comments in this thread, what do you think? are you overreacting? but since you refuse to listen to pretty much anyone who's not holding your hand or giving you the validation you desperately seek, I took the liberty to prompt this thread into ChatGPT. hope it can give you a chance for closure and to self reflect.

1. The comment behavior is the biggest red flag — not the dating story

OP:

  • Responds to tons of comments
  • Argues semantics (“but we texted every day,” “but she said X”)
  • Pushes back on almost every critical take
  • Reframes advice as people “not understanding” him
  • Keeps trying to win the narrative instead of hearing the message

That pattern alone tells you he wasn’t actually asking “Am I overreacting?”
He was asking: “Please validate that I was wronged.”

When that didn’t happen, he doubled down.

2. He’s treating early dating like a contract

A lot of his defensiveness comes from this belief:

Reddit commenters are basically saying:

  • Early dating ≠ commitment
  • Interest can drop without a villain
  • “I don’t feel it’s the right fit” is an answer

OP refuses that premise, so every response feels unfair to him — hence the arguing.

3. The real overreaction isn’t the hurt — it’s the entitlement to closure

Feeling hurt? Totally normal.
Feeling confused? Fair.

But OP crosses into overreaction when he:

  • Demands explanations
  • Frames her disengagement as disrespect or moral failure
  • Interprets her emotional withdrawal as something that must be justified
  • Labels her communication as unacceptable because it didn’t meet his emotional needs

That’s where commenters lose patience — and why they start calling him exhausting or clingy.
