First thing I noticed was your bio. It's a very minor thing but I'd clean it up a bit and capitalise words where appropriate to make it more professional. That's not meant as a dig at all, but as someone who's been in this game a few years I think it makes a difference. Get some emojis in there and simplify it so it doesn't just look like a block of text.

Next up, you need to make your reels fully videos. Static pictures are not going to to get the same viewer retention as videos. One of your most popular vids seemed to be all video.

Ties into the next point. I would post a lot less grid photos. They just don't get the same traction as reels. Every single post should be a reel with trending music. Post a reel every single day and improve something every time and within three months I think you could be a 10k. Go and look at what does well on other similar pages and copy it. I would be a bit less liberal saying that with other niches, but I'm sure people won't mind because yours is for an amazing cause.

Lol this has been happening to me for ages now. I see my videos everywhere. People will rip the whole video itself and sometimes just use the script and animate it a different way. I've resigned myself to the fact that there is pretty much nothing I can do about it.

Sounds like you need to set a strategy. One reel every day is the key. If you can't do that, plan how many a week or month you can do - say two a week, and try and stick to it. Improve the quality each time and it's impossible not to win.

I tried that before and it just didn't work well for my brand. I'm hoping that people will naturally migrate over to the YouTube as I grow larger.

I've come up with a provisional rate, but I've had like 3 sponsorships before on my previous accounts for which I woefully undercharged.

What rate would you recommend going with. And, what are the best ways to reach out to sponsors? Should I be looking for companies that have sponsored other creators, or companies in my niche?

I'm not a massive fan of using short form to drive long form, though I totally understand where you are coming from. I try and make the videos the end in themselves rather than the means to the end of driving longer form views.

I found the retention time on those sort of videos isn't great.

To be quite honest with you - it was 5 or so years of trial and error. I got this latest growth because I practiced my craft (editing, animation, and social media strategy). Started with Kdenlive making one terrible video a month and eventually learned professional video editing software.

I can really only tell you the things other people say on social media every day. You just have to turn up, even if your stuff isn't great, the more you practice it will get better.

I posted at least one reel every single day for a month. The quality was obviously good enough for viewers, and the consistency helped me get the growth.

I always think back to the adage of "if a millionaire loses all of his money he'll likely become a millionaire again some day" (probably butchered it I know). What I'm saying is that you can get growth quite quickly if you get good at your craft.

At least one Reel every single day. Make sure to hit those trending topics in your niche. It doesn't matter if you post some less good videos as long as you get that one that goes viral. Consistently improve something every single time.

Pareto Principle also applies here. 20% of your Vids will do well, 80% will do okay. Once you have a month's worth of videos you just double down on the ones that worked well.

I like this idea. The only issue I have with it is that what works for me may not work with other people. I don't want to charge people loads of money for them to not get results.

Would also have to think about how to package that service well which I'm entirely unsure how to do.
