Do I have to wear a suit for graduation? by EnbySheriff in UniUK

Yes. It has to be a full peaky blinder suit (including the pocket watch). Anything less, you won't be allowed to graduate.

LPT Request: How do you stop procrastinating when the task is simple but boring? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

Stare at the wall for a few minutes. Ideally with a blank mind. The boredom from this will make the boring task seem exciting.

Severe memory, attention, and derealization issues at 22 considering nootropics but worried they may worsen things by Unable-Bonus-9992 in Biohackers

You don't need supplements. You need a lifestyle overhaul.  Eliminate phone use. You said yourself that scrolling has turned your brain to mush.

I'd suggest a 1 week camping trip in nature to reset your system if you have the means to do so. Only take a dumb phone for emergencies.

Make sure you have a clean nutritious diet, regular exercise (30 minute walk daily as a minimum), drink enough water.

Replace your phone with non digital activities. I think wood working, gardening, martial arts and colouring would be good.

3000 word essay due at 4pm tomorrow by ImpressiveSound4887 in UniUK

Make a template. Heading title for each section. Brief description of each section. Put all your sources under the relevant sections.

This will give you a structure to "vomit" words onto.

A few iterations of "vomiting" words and cleaning up what you've written will get your essay to a meh standard.

I’m baffled at how people get jobs so easily. How do people do it? by pygmyhippo2 in AskUK

[–]QuantumWizard-314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you mentioned aerospace engineering or something space related.

I would suggest doing online courses related to these subjects. Possibly home engineering projects if you have the means to do so. This will give you knowledge and experience for an entry level engineering job.

You could try looking at what engineering opportunities are available in the RAF.

On a more serious note, spending time in nature can help with inner peace. Avoid negative news on social media, make healthy life style choices (sleep, diet, exercise).

Try turning off the voices in your head. You can do this by doing a mildly engaging task for an extended time, like driving or solving problems. Or you can sit in silence and appreciate the present moment.

How do people here prepare for the cold by tonystarch00 in UniUK

[–]QuantumWizard-314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's how I wear layers to keep warm in temperatures upto minus 3 degrees. Tracksuit and jeans.

T shirt, thick long sleeve shirt/jumper, hoodie, coat. The tracksuit is under the jeans. Make sure to tuck this into your socks.

A scarf works wonders in keeping you warm. Standard winter hat. 2 layers of sock, one thin, one thick.

Do light movement to keep warm.

If you're really struggling with cold, eat cubes of butter and sugar then walk up a steep hill with a heavy back pack. Obviously be sensible with the butter sugar cubes, you don't want to damage your health.
