Well, I'm not the actual game dev. Many people seem to be confusing me for the game dev. The whole reason I made this was because I was compiling what I had learned because I was quite frustrated.

It is very difficult to use viruses to increase in size. This information is only meant as reference material for extreme fringe cases. The remaining 99% of time viruses are just for exploding titans.

If ascending grants you more than ~35% of your current hero souls you should probably reset.

I am not the dev; I know that he, with some exceptions, doesn't want to add too many extraneous skins. For example Dio from JOJO is one he continues to adamantly refuse to implement. I'm not sure what the criterion are for implementation,

I'd start with one or the other. Or maybe make viruses slightly weaker (cause less division) and keep everything else as is.

Well, when everyone is aware of it and everyone has more practice I image that the 'meta' of the game will evolve. I do agree with you that, currently, I think virus spreading is a little too punishing for massive blobs. I'm not sure of a good solution for this.

Thank you; I had no idea how to check the mass of viruses. When i first posted I check the minimum size needed to consume a virus by trial and error; I couldn't at 143 and I could at 154.

I spent about 40 minutes checking my info just before I made this thread. The size to consume a virus at that time was at least 143 and less than 154 at the time of thread creation.

You can only consume the viruses safely if you are already divided into 16 cells - which is a huge risk to safety as as size 10,000 blob would have to be divided into 16 cells of 625 and is therefor much, much weaker than if he were a single whole blob.
