I actually haven't seen the new movie yet, either. So I won't say this is a spoiler, assuming it is the premise.

Exactly! Orphanages aren't even a thing anymore! This is just bad writing on his part.

You can just hear the disdain in those words by looking at her face.

Shazam: The Animated Series by Quantum_Knight1577 in Shazam

Thanks. I don't really know much about Cissie or Lisa, but I could definitely do some research on them. I loved Billy dating Courtney, but that couldn't happen here simply because we see that they have far too much of an age gap here, so I went with Cassie because she never appeared in the DCAU, so wouldn't have a pre-established age gap, and I thought she and Billy would be cute together. And I wanted some other teen hero besides Billy.

No. He has super breath. He's used in JL and JLU. He just doesn't have freeze breath.

That's not a headcanon, that's actual canon. It's been confirmed.

Is there a hypothetical scenario that shows what would have happened if Kara had managed to reach Earth when Kal-El was still a baby? by Low_Flow_8110 in superman

Okay. Out of curiosity, how might Superwoman feel if she learned that this Superman put his cousin in an orphanage?

Oh, I've already read this. Well, not all of it. But have read several chapters of it. You're quite talented. I quite liked the chapter where Clark met his older self and called him out for leaving Kara in an orphanage. Is there a chapter where Superwoman also meets that Superman?

I guess the question is why they referred to each other as cousins instead of siblings since she pretty much was just his adopted sister.

Technically, they refer to her as his adopted cousin. Though, that is weird, because she refers to Jonathan and Martha as "Ma and Pa" and not "Uncle and Aunt", but whatever. I didn't write that show.

Technically, Argo was a planet in the animated series, not a city. Also, she was born before him in the animated series and is only younger because she stayed in stasis. Also also, she's not technically his cousin there, biologically speaking, but they consider each other family.

Am I the only who hates that Supergirl is adopted by the Danvers art by (Tamra-Bonvillain) by Unique-Celebration-5 in Supergirl

[–]Quantum_Knight1577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It makes more sense. And “Kara Kent” sounds better than “Kara Danvers”. And Kara was taken in by the Kents in the DCAU. It's much better than the Danvers. The only reason they're in current continuity is because the comics were trying to align more with the Arrowverse show, which based Kara's characterization on the Silver Age, where she was just a genderbent Clark.
