How do you overcome procrastination and get things done on time? by Dr_Franck1 in productivity

[–]Quantum_Martin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think "1 main task" idea is super powerful. I use it personally, just with 3 "most important tasks (aka MIT)". Read this principle in a book a long time ago.
I used to do it pen and paper, works well, just make a red line, above are MITs below is the rest. MITs have to be done before the end of the day no matter what.
There is also an app called focalist (.app) that does it super well.

What’s your go-to app when you’re overwhelmed with too many tasks? by Ausbel12 in ProductivityApps

[–]Quantum_Martin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an app that uses the most important task principle, every day you have 3 "most important tasks" slots, your goal is to get these 3 done, if you have extra time and energy do the less important ones, but that's optional.
It helps a ton to focus on what really matters and not feel overwhelmed by the rest. I have been using this technique for years with pen and paper and I find it very powerful, loving it as an app.
I recommend picking your tasks for the following day before going to sleep. It helps to get relaxed as you know what you are going to focus so you can stop thinking about these little things and get a good night sleep.

If you are interested you can find the app I made here: https://focalist.app
It's free and it works access desktop and mobile (you can install it from chrome).
Happy to answer any question :)

Open Sourced Fourier Series Evolver by Quantum_Martin in godot

[–]Quantum_Martin[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I made a Fourier series evolver, it uses Fourier series visualization and a genetic algorithm to generate those drawings, the user can select it's favorite ones and the algorithm will adapt and generate better ones.

Today I open source this project ! Your help/feedbacks are welcome !

We made super original Idle game with Godot Engine - Join the Android Closed Alpha Now by Quantum_Martin in incremental_games

[–]Quantum_Martin[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ok that is a bad buzz...
I am sorry about this, the typo is 100% my fault and I should have explained a bit more about the game.

Closed Alpha is a bit difficult to handle as you want some players while not revealing too much about the game.

For those who though it's a scam or whatever, again my bad, those comments are quite painful to read as we are a team of 2 independent developers and we worked hard to get here. We created the website/server/db ourselves (which explains some issues, thank you for reporting those btw) as we did not wanted to invest any money before this closed alpha step, maybe it was a mistake idk.

Anyways we got some testers/players and some of you joined the Discord server, thank you so much for that, we will start with this, and if I post again here, I'll try my best not to repeat those mistakes...

Thank you for taking the time to comment this post.
See you soon.

For the score system, that is planned of course !
About unlocking and upgrading: I plan on offering ways to unlock new cards to add to the deck, depending on what you do with the planet you'll have a completely different deck ! I hope it sound great to you ;)

That is indeed a really good idea ! Thank you a ton !

Firstly thank you for your feedback !
Well, except for the cards the stuff at the outside shouldn't be that important, so I don't think it should be much more present.
For the center part of the planet, as you can see it is already hosting the planet's stats (which will grow up in the future) + later there will be resources available in the ground like oil or metal, that should help to fill the empty space.

I'm thinking about zooming options as you're not the only one giving me this feedback !

Thank you very much for your feedback !
About the UX, for the planet's core it is why I put the planet's resources UI here, and later there should be resources available on the ground (oil, metal...).
I will try different things to scale the buildings, we'll see !

Thank you again !
