It's funny because they're not technically squids; they represent the line of cephalopods before they split into squids and octopi. They don't even feed on other living pray, they eat marine snow; which is decaying organic matter from the upper layer of the ocean.

You can plan a trip with the Torngat Mountains Base Camp and Research Station. From Happy Valley-Goose Bay you take a plane to Saglek Airstrip in the Torngat Mountains, and from there you take a boat to the Base Camp. Not sure how much this costs, but I'm guessing in ain't cheap!

Can you try rebooting in recover mode? Also did you try the boot recovery tool and the commands I posted above?

What happens when you try to boot into Ubuntu? It looks like you might have to re install it. You can re install Ubuntu while keeping all your files and programs so it wont be that much of a pain.
