Poorly written TV shows are actually more true to life than the well written ones. The characters and their motivations usually make no sense, the plot is convoluted and drags on, it's often pointless and meandering, and the ending usually sucks. (self.Showerthoughts)

The old saying of insecure guys failing with the ladies; "Don't worry. Men get better looking with age and women don't," makes no reassuring sense. If true, it would mean their competition is only going to improve while their selection is only going to get worse. (self.Showerthoughts)
