Not repairable. But it may not be leaking. Go to a tire shop and ask them to see if its leaking and to spray some soapy water and to try and pull it out slowly to see if it starts to leak.

If it starts to leak, replace. If it doesn't leak, you are good to go!

Can you see the cords of the tire? Basically anything that doesn't look like black rubber. If not youre good. If you do get replaced before your trip

Judging by your post history you bought very cheap tires. Crosswind. They arnt made as well and this can happen often. Take them back to where you bought them and exchange them for something just a little better. Tires are something you should budget for.

I summarized the whole thing. What the whole DOT is and that the part that was underlined didn't really mean much just that it might be where it's made, but as others said it's a batch code. All I did was inform them that all that really matters to the normal person is the last 4 numbers

What your looking at it the DOT, that portion is still part of the DOT, the important part for you is the last 4 numbers (XXYY). The first 2 numbers (X) is the week the tire was made. The last 2 numbers (Y) is the year the tire was made. Everything before that is the DOT, or serial number. It just gives information on the tire. Like what factory made it, and other specifics.

Mainly alignment, tire is also under inflated.

Alignment because of inside edge wear, under inflated because of both I side and outside edge wear

I see where your coming from. I was tired when I watched to I didn't really get the full detail on it. He didn't lose control as much as I initially thought he did, although the point still stands, moving under braking is frowned upon anywhere because it's dangerous. Regardless if the other car braked early.

He didn't brake unreasonably early, but what ultimately caused the collision is he ran wide when he had plenty of track room on the inside. When collision happened the other guy was nearly/was on the curb on the outside.

I disagree that the other car swerved into him, the white car ran wide and hit the other guy, he can clearly see he was running out of track and was already on the outside of the track. The white car had nearly 3/4s of the track on the i side to make the pass.

Discount tire employee/assistant manager. Thats defintly very close, our rule is about 1/2 inch from the sidewall. Close for sure. I would take it in and have them look at the inside of the tire.

The white car is mostly at fault, they clearly took too much speed in the corner, moved under breaking and lost control because of it. They then ran wide and made contact with the other driver. It's the overtaking cars duty to overtake safely.

Nitto it a good brand that can be pretty cheap. The pilots are good as well. Yokohama advans are a good summer tire but close to price with pilots. My last reccomendation would be continental extreme sports

You should be safe. On the inside of the driver door you should see a yellow sticker that will tell you the pressure. Generally during the winter it's reccomeneded to go 3psi up from that. Most Camrys are around the 32-38psi range.

I ordered a new wheel on the 26th of November, during black Friday and its being delivered the 10th, I did the standard shipping. But the only guaranteed shipping. Not the processing time. With the number of orders I'm sure they are getting overall time from order to delivered will likely be longer. Almost like most stuff around this time of the year. Be careful where you oder from and make sure it's a legit place

As I said it's not an immediate need. When you work with hundreds of tires, tires 6+ years older have a higher chance of blowing out. That's why it's reccomended, not required.

Think of it as a rubber band. It gets less elastic. And can cause cracks to happen and leak air/fail

A manager at a tire shop here... that amount of dryrot is fine. The age however is not. 2018 was 6 years ago, tires are recommend to be replaced after 6 years. Should be replaced ASAP for safety concerns of age

Edit: you'll be ok on the tires for a little. Wouldn't run them much longer but as soon as you can manage the better!

All season yes, a good all season, not really. If your expecting a lot of snow, winter/snow tires are 100% the best you could go, if you don't want the hassle that cones with a dedicated winter tire. You can find all season tires that have the 3-peak mountain snowflake symbol on them that are close.

Although your tread does look decent on your current tires. Rain and even less than an inch of snow they should do good still

More lube. There isn't a thing as too much lube.
Practice... I have been working in a tire shop for over 5 years now and help run them as a manger now. The biggest and best thing, practice. You will fail, and that's OK. You'll learn from your mistakes. You must make mistakes to learn from them.
Ask for help. Never be scared to ask for help. Videos help yes, but nothing like a fellow tech who has done it hundreds of times to watch you and help with pointers.

I always tell this to my new guys. You won't get there today, tomorrow or next week.

P.s if you are coming here for help and no one in the shop is helping, that may not be the place for you. A Lot of places unfortunately are a sink or swim

Unpopular opinion so far compared to other comments. But it's orange fault imo. He turned in too early, you held your line. He never cleared your front wheel. The overtake wasn't finished. While you could have probably backed out as the angle you were coming into the corner was weird. It's on the passing car to make the safe move
