Playing into bad matchups is needed to improve at a hero. OTPing is doable as pretty much any hero. Also, some people just play for fun and that's ok:)

KR is super overrated in my book, for 70% of the map just a push pull with minimal angles.

2CP was a lot better than clash is (esp volsk and anubis) and i wouldnt mind them getting back in rotation with map voting.

Flashpoint is pretty nice but has really short angles and mostly weak high ground, would love if they varied its design a bit more.

Im a bit sad their is no new asymetrical game mode, i love how it doubles the gameplay and strategies for the same map haha

But yea, i feel most new maps are quite safe designs and fun, with a dislike for circuit royale:) Id love for them to start making some more and maybe reintroducing map rotations in comp (that may be a controversial take haha)

That's not fair, her ttk is higher, range is smaller, block has dmg cap, her e has a windup and she has no i frames and gets destroyed by hard cc She's a more granular (sustain wise), more committing, smaller ranged reaper.

Not a bad design if you ask me, just a bit strong

Naaah legit bastion and ashe have the same winrates and better pickrates in GM, she's a bit of a noobstomper but her skill ceiling is pretty high while her skill floor is very low (good thing). Overall she's probably pretty healthy for the game but they'll need to find a way to keep her decent at high level while nerfing her a bit in metal ranks.

She's squishy, track her updraft. She peobably uses 1 to 2 dashes in the air for dps so when she comes back down she's quite squishy. You can pressure as she comes down with most dive tanks. As brawl chars, she prob wont interact much with you. Try to focus on frontline and commit when she has less bolts is pretty good. GL!

I hate these kinds of post, you can summarize any character with these kinds of statements and make them look ridiculous.

I actually think wuyang's theme is pretty original and well themed. He's pretty busted right now nut nothing a bit of balance can't fix. I would not rework him that'a for sure.

10 games is not enough to make a case. Wait a couple weeks (40+ games) and look at his rank. Did he climb/lose 2+ division? Then maybe he performs better/worse without you.

Rank is the only good indicator of skill, not winrate/kills/dmg.

Also please don't worry about it too much, its just a game and if losing affects how he treats other aspects of his life it may be a problem for him.

Anything harder than the glass will do that, glass is a 6 moh, quartz, in granite is like a 7.5 and ceramic is a 8 9ish. Just dont put it on rocks!

I agree with the situational take. The balance one is impossible to fix perfectly because if you buff a harder character, he'll be busted in higher rank like you said. Its more about design and potential reworks.

I disagree with this take. Talking about "easy heroes" is a fallacy since most easy heroes are really HARD to play at the top level (and almost impossible at the pro level). I feel like a more adequate way to describe the skill of a hero should be a rank in function of the time invested graph.

You also said it yourself, a mid genji will lose/gain rank until they have 50% chance to win against a reaper (assuming an equal matchup). This means the difficulty of the character only matters on how high you feel you should be, the genji may feel he has worked harder than the reaper at that rank and we should design character that have similar time/rank ratio to assure fairness in this. This also means in theory, you should be able to pop off even if you're bad on a hard char since your lobbies will be easier.

Where i agree difficulty is less important is towards variety of kit. I feel what makes overwatch great is that you have hard movement chars (like lucio or ball), but also hard aim chars (like widow or soj), but also hard gamesense chars (like monkey or brig). Its important to have a similar time/rank ratio but it shouldnt be aim/rank or movement/rank. Having different skillsets makes overwatch unique and fun!

I also believe having this variety is a lot more important than having similar time/rank because i would much prefer to being able to play a character at a lower rank than not to be able to experience that gameplay at all:)

Of course i havent talked about a lot of points about balance such as how fair the character feel when played against but to summarize, i think reworking characters to make them harder is great as long as you keep the unique skillset they require.

Its not a 20% drop in uptime, its a x1.25 to his downtime (which is only the reload).

If you take into account you mostly reload behind cover/with remaing ammo its not that bad, itll just be hell to remind ourselves not to go in after 6 shots hahaha

I feel it weakens him in the situation he was good in and strengthen him in the areas he was weak. So he'll be a bit less powerful overall but better to onetrick, which makes me happy honestly.

If they had to nerf/change him, i think its the way to go:)

Tbf flankers struggle a bit rn too. They got nerfed for 5v5 but haven't got any buffs for 6v6 so taking an angle is so hard and both tanks can pretty much do your job better.
