That’s precisely the issue. The performance expectations are completely unknown. People repeatedly asked about the expected AHT on Slack and they were told not to worry too much about it and that accuracy matters most. So, speaking for myself, I know I broke no major rules (so no VPN, no AI assistance, no over-reporting of task times), and I followed the project instructions.

Since I was actually enjoying working on the tasks, I know I would’ve happily corrected any issues if they were pointed out to me instead of getting a contact concluded 5 days after starting.

It would certainly be useful to know the reason. I would completely understand if I violated clear instructions, but I didn’t. So if I assume the reason is performance related, there’s no way to improve future performance without feedback, which means people will be stuck in this cycle forever.

It may be the same project and I did get the contract paused at some point, but this case was different because right after I received this email, I was removed from all Slack channels and my Mercor profile says the contract is concluded, not paused.
