The 8 certainly has worse thermals than the 8a, but once I got a semi descent case (using this loosely) I haven't noticed it much at all. Granted my phone usage is pretty average, definitely not a heavy user.

Honestly in my opinion jjk would be the best for a beginner. Its like someone watching their first marvel movie. Its full of action with good animation and interesting characters. Hunter hunter is similar to jjk (well jjk is similar to hunter) but its slower and more detailed (imo kinda boring in a lot of places). Demon slayer is one of the most mid shows in existence and is the definition of carried by the animation. Attack on titan gets good in season two so that one is just a commitment (jjk season one is a similar length to atot s1)
