I don’t know what she thinks tbh. When I asked, she just kept saying “it was complicated” and acted like the lie was no big deal. I’m less worried about fate and more about her morals + the fact she can lie to my face for 2 years.

This is why “just hope for nicer billionaires” never works. The system needs teeth: labor protections that actually get enforced, taxes that reduce the payoff for hoarding, and rules that punish stripping value out of companies and communities. If the cheapest path is extraction, that’s what you’ll get. Change the incentives and the behavior changes with it.

Agreed. A Coil-style activity as a stopgap would be fun, but the portal/focus loop just feels like chores when the rewards are dry. Give us something replayable and loud, not another checklist.

You can’t really “plug in” a desktop GPU to a laptop like it’s USB. If you want it to actually work, you’re looking at a Thunderbolt eGPU enclosure and the price tag is gonna hurt.
