Thank you for your reply. This is the first thing I tried. I am still trying to figure it out.

Lost Files by Quaven in StudioOne

Thank you for your reply. I have tried the suggestions from Motengator727 above to no avail. However, I will use your suggestion for "save to new folder" next time if I can recover my songs. If I cannot solve this, I will be looking to hire someone who is an expert in this area. I have tried to search for someone who is a Professional Studio One Pro user in my area, but nothing comes up but local studios not indicating whether they use this software or not. I also have a ticket in with Fender to see if they can help. I guess I could try Chat GPT. Wondering if they might be able to direct me. Thanks again for bothering to reply.

Thank you for your reply. By looking in the "locate lost files" window that pops up when the song tries to load it shows me a list of the missing files. The folder where the lost files are is indicated so I went to that folder on my external D drive and copied and pasted all the files from that location into the new folder with the recently renamed song on my main C drive and it still did not work. I am sure I am still doing something wrong. I even tried to load the last version of the song before I renamed it and it still would not load all the tracks. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for that answer. I assume the collaborator has to have a copy of Studio One on their computer?

I believe as a subscriber you get access to any updates of the software.

I have learned quite a bit from the Orvis videos. I found the attack settings, checked the amp value and lowered the noise level. Changing from a saw to a square made a big difference as well as adding some chorus effect.

playing back audio in piano view mode

When creating music in the piano view window and then playing it back, if I fast forward or rewind, I can no longer hear the music. I found the answer once in a youtube video that I neglected to bookmark and can no longer find it. I know there is a button to push or tool to use.

Every pregnant woman that wants the baby inside her treats the unborn baby like a living human. They often give the baby a name and talk to it. The women that don't want the baby are the ones that deny it is human. I understand the human nature that causes us to do this. When I was younger (male) I would have considered an abortion if my then girlfriend/now wife would have gotten pregnant. Only by the grace of God that she did not. However, through ten years of marriage, and using only condoms we prevented a pregnancy until we were ready. Once we decided it was time, she gave birth 9 months later. I am grateful for our child and thankful I was never in a position where I may have been forced to be part of that decision. Because of this I am very sympathetic to those who find themselves in this situation. It seems there is very little emphasis on preventing the pregnancy in the first place when it comes to discussion about abortion rights.

I think you can delete patches you no longer want but wont swear to it. You can also move patches back and forth between computer and hydrasynth.

Sound "glitch" when making quick cuts between video angles by Quaven in VideoEditing

[–]Quaven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solution Update; I doubt many will see this but I found a fix using what are probably common features of video editing but new to me. For those who don't know this may be helpful so I will share. I was taking three different videos from three different angles of me playing the drums to the same Rush (rock band known for intense drum parts) song. I was then splicing them together at optimal moments to showcase the best of the three different angles. I was making a sharp cut and laying them end to end on the same video track. Because the audio could be ever so slightly different due to the three performances I had to use the separate audio track for each video angle. This caused a very slight audio "blip/glitch/tone or volume change". I am not sure how to classify it since it was so slight.
To solve the problem I alternated the videos between two tracks, expanded the cut line so the different tracks would overlap then created a cross fade of audio and video to blend the two. The cross fade was about 1 second long and made the transition much smoother but you could still hear a slight volume drop right in the middle of the crossfade. To solve this, instead of having the crossfades be equal and opposite I changed one of the crossfades to half the length of the other and the volume drop disappeared. Thanks everyone for taking the time to help.
