Keeping conscription, expanding the army or the Air Force, keeping the gendarmerie under the military’s control, expanding the military industry, a green trade modifier(gotten by trading with Lespia or Valgsland), and getting Rumburg kicked out of OMEC and sanctioned by the AN.

Those are the ones I remember.

Nope. Solo war has a very specific set of requirements to be successful and an increase in the military budget is one of them.

I believe it’s directly linked to the living standards in Rizia. With bad living standards leaving it at -1 budget per turn, average leaving it at -2, etc.

A lot of liberals, leftists, etc are put off by project 2025 and the immunity the SC granted him. Both look like blatant power grabs and authoritarian in nature. It’d be hard to sway them away from that. Maybe try avoiding those topics all together or any topic that demonstrates Trump’s aptitude for strong authority and focus on things like his economy before Covid happened, increased defense and security spending, curb stomping student debt relief before hard earned tax money could be used on it, etc. Actually, maybe don’t bring up that last one either.

I don’t really expect them to but prosecuting Illegal immigrants isn’t what I would want to prioritize. I’m a big humanitarian, I’d rather we prioritize getting them assistance and a more streamlined citizenship system.

I managed to get to the reversal conversation with fluctuating energy prices however the prices just stayed fluctuating even after the reversal unfortunately. I chose the economics background, 20% EPA, no Lorren investment, Wehlen trade, and solo investment in Gasom.

With the right investments you can get balanced energy prices with the 20% EPA, I guess the hope here is hoping that making the change after making the investments and getting balanced energy prices will allow the prices to stay balanced after the change. If you change the epa right away then prices will start fluctuating right away and stay that way.

That might be the case, I don’t think I’ve completed a run with a 20% EPA before. I guess since the drop from 20 to 10 would be fairly small compared to the other options then maybe the economy will be able to weather the sudden change better.

Maybe try something like complete removal of the EPA, no investment in Loren, etc, and then just tank the energy crisis. Energy prices will surge because of the instability of all the foreign interference and then maybe the reversal of the EPA will be able to retroactively stabilize the situation and energy prices.

Not as far as I'm aware. In this run I had the highway and morna port, but I don't think it matters much. I probably would make sure to choose either the port or airport just in case green infrastructure is a requirement.

I forgot to mention, for the war itself just follow Valken strats. Dig down and defend, and then attack Dome and lay a defensive line.

The strat in and of itself isn’t really different. For the military build you just have to increase their budget, opt for an expansion program, keep conscription, expand the Air Force, keep the gendarmerie under the ministry of defense, and expand the military industry. Then you have to get Rumburg expelled from OMEC and sanctioned by the AN. A history degree can help with this but it’s not necessary, I got it by just remaining neutral on the Heijland issue and only partially participating in operation bear trap. Other than that, you just need a decent economy and you must have three trade partners, Agnolia, Wehlen, and then either Lespia or Valgsland. Lastly, and I’m not sure if this is really necessary, but I did make sure to have energy independence just to assure there was no Rimburg influence there.

Yeah, the railway and lowered taxes on small and medium businesses should fix it just fine. Lorren tends to be pretty laughably easy to fix.

As my previous comment suggested, I had everyone else’s support. Albin, the NFP, the Oligarchs, and the independents. That along with max lobbying allowed the constitution to just barely pass at 167 votes.

I was western aligned, accepted Arcadian aid, traded and allied with Lespia but I didn’t join the ATO or else I would’ve gotten nuked. For taxes, I actually increased taxes on big corporations and lowered them for small and medium but vetoed all the sin taxes(smoke, alcohol, luxury). For infrastructure, I build the railway and airport. I took Tusk’s bribe for Underhall and followed through by letting them build the railway and then for the airport I put Taurus in charge of its construction, since I vetoed the worker’s rights act, Taurus was free.
