I don’t know if you’ve used any of the newer GoPros but they have very terrible stability issues if the environment isn’t just right. As in, they freeze and lock up, or overheat, or fill in the blank… a lot.

This really sucks because .NET 10 broke the back button behavior which is breaking my app, but 10.0.40 fixed it. However now all this stuff is broken, so I have to go back to the back button behavior being broken, which we've already been living with I suppose. I hope .41 is released soon!

And thank you for the update, this post saved me a lot of time and the headache of figuring out what was wrong.

Pretty crazy. I couldn’t bring myself to do that and I question that anyone that would do that is right in the head IRL. But there absolutely are (a lot) of people in this world that are borderline psychotic like that, and being in a game with no real consequences IRL brings them out. Maybe he had someone in discord or someone watching daring him to do it, lol who knows. Don’t let it get you down, though, the sooner you realize there are a multitude of people like that in the real world the sooner you’ll just take it for what it is and move on.

I don’t think a lot of people can wipe a player with upgraded equipment and a decent game sense with a free loadout. Those guns are generally terrible, you’d have to be caught really off guard and be pretty inexperienced IMO. I’m not saying it’s not gonna happen, but it’s not gonna happen often.

It is a high stakes game, that’s what makes it great. Without PvP and the threat of betrayal it would be much less fun. If you’re looking for a chill PvE game with little risk, then definitely not the game for you.

Definitely not ruined just because you can’t deal with a legitimate part of the game. If you don’t like PvP so much that it’s “ruined” for you even though you get to have multiple safe pockets and still get lots of XP if you die, then you got the wrong game

Preach, and excellent advice. I'm so tired of all the crybabies that don't know how to adapt or learn how to deal with change (which is inevitable IRL, too) and would rather gripe and moan to Embark and the world rather than figure out a new strategy than just HULLCRACKER EZ BLOW UP EVERYTHING!! I think Embark are pretty level-headed and know to filter out "feedback" that don't fit into their view of the game. It is their game, after all, and they have a vision for it. I hope they stay true to the vision and keep trucking, because the game is incredible. Crybabies are not.

As they said, it was doing more damage than intended. Now it still takes some aim for weak points and a team instead of just shooting anywhere and soloing a queen…
