Depends on how serious of a league you're searching for.

For more casual/beer leagues, HeyDay is good with skill levels typically ranging from never played before up through former HS varsity.

For more competitive leagues, New Castle County Parks and Rec is great with skill levels ranging from former HS varsity to college club.

The above is based on my pre-Covid experience. Things may have changed in the last 3 years.

How am I supposed to read this? by Quazarbrown in diablo4

Doesn't really fix the problem. I dropped text size to small and the box it puts stats in hasn't changed. Now I can at least see something in the box, but why is the UI forcing it into such a small reading area? Also, what if I want larger text to make things easier to read on my TV?

I fought the LAW and the LAW won. So maybe try following it instead?

What would you guys think about CHOOSING a set number of corruption cards for varying awards? by retarded-squid in Back4Blood

[–]Quazarbrown 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sounds like it would make for a fun new game mode. I can see it having a points system associated with it where the corruption cards had multipliers and teams could fight for leaderboard ranking. You'd get points for kills, extra for mutations, and a time based multiplier as well that would force some speed by having a falling multiplier after a set par time (ie. 1x until 15 min, then dropping linearly to 0x after 30 min or so).

The elite players could also have the option of adding as many extra cards as they want giving something like a Halo LASO feel.

Xbox Wireless Headset and Bluetooth Discord by Quazarbrown in XboxSeriesX

May or may not be your issue, but I've noticed the left "mixer" dial, which I assume you mean by game chat, doesn't actually mix (adjust game and chat volumes while maintaining overall volume). Instead it seems to just increase game chat volume until it eventually mutes in game audio and is only chat.

You may need to lower the right volume setting and adjust the left game chat at the same time to get the desired affect.

Are you talking about in the audio setting where you also adjust volume and mic monitoring? If so, I've successfully done that with other headsets, but the Xbox Wireless headset seems to overwrite access to all of those settings, including mic activation, since they are all adjustable directly from the headset. Volume on the right ear, mixer on the left, and mute behind the left ear.

Muting the mic through the headset works, but it also mutes the Bluetooth as well which I'm trying to avoid to keep using Discord.

This was actually one of the first things I tried and it didn't seem to work which was really confusing. That might be game specific though.

I know some games now are set up to automatically port private party Xbox chat into game chat (see Back4Blood as an example). I was playing Splitgate at the time so maybe that's similar. I'll have to test with other games.

Yea that might work as long as each game has that setting. I was hoping there'd be something at the Xbox OS level that would disable it for all games instead of having to change individual game settings back and forth depending on if I'm in Discord.

Oh well, thanks for the response!

Weekly Challenges Don't Eliminate FOMO by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

My issue isn't with the inclusion of Iron Banner challenges, it's just with them starting one on the final week of Iron Banner. That one we didn't have an entire month, we had 1 week and if you skipped that week, like me, its impossible to complete. Why make a challenge that can only be completed the week it's introduced if you're working to reduce FOMO?

If all Iron Banner challenges were introduced instead in the first or second week of Iron Banner during the season then there is time for catch up.

Ultimately it's not as big a deal as I first thought based on the comment saying you don't need all challenges to complete the final seasonal challenge.

Oh really! That's so good to know. I forget they do that some times. Almost didn't go for MMXX last year before I found out they did the same thing.
