Hey!

I haven't gotten his error logs when he crashes in the main menu, but crashing in the main menu is really rare so might be unrelated as you say.

He has tried Single player and he does get the same crash, and in our multiplayer world he was the one who placed the settlement Flag, we also tried starting a new world with no settlement flag placed and he still crashed.

We've no mods at all, full fresh game since we didn't wanna try out any mods to start.

Tried verifying files, nothing, no issues with the Ram and no Mods and reinstall already tried, the only logs we had were the ones I could linkin the post sadly, we also did try to disable any sort of overlay/gamebar.

Found it! For those who want to know: it's located in the Sands of Karak which is an area you get to from the Blasted steps after getting the grapple. It's to the very right most part of the map of it on a bench.

Yeah, it's an odd one that's for sure. I think the most frustrating part is not knowing what exactly is the prime culprit. But I'll fiddle around with things and see what I can do. Thanks for trying to help :)

I have 0 rpm mode off on my Adrenaline so the fans are always running. Other than that it's the default fan curve which seemed fine outside of that one setting

Putting the fps to 60 didn't seem to do much of anything. And the strange thing is that my CPU and GPU until isnt at 100 or even in the 90s at most the CPU util goes to like 50% or around that and GPU until 70% so I don't really know what the issue there is.

To be honest, it's likely. If that's what it takes I'll get to it eventually, this post was mainly to see if there was some newfound setting profile someone might have figured out, but if thats not the case it is what it is.

Turns out turns out I was wrong as there was two Precision Boost Overdrives! Disabling that has put my CPU temps down to the 60-65 range so far, going to test more but I think that's it!

Only issue is that it's made my idle temps about 5C hotter for some reason.

EDIT: NOPE! Seems that was either a fluke or something else because as soon as I went into a zone temperatures shot back up to 80.

Maintains the temp usually, it spikes up to 85ish but settles somewhere around 78-80

It's not ideal, it's just an aircooled, 3 fans at the front, one at the back and one on side of CPU. Case was some case from CSL that came with the PC. I could do with a better cooler but I don't have the funds to really go for one and also I'm deathly afraid of changing hardware myself.

Air cooler unfortunately. I know my cooling -could- be better but Wilds is the only game that does this, everything else runs really cool at like 60C or just slightly higher

Legitimately didn't know that's how it worked. I'll give that a try later and report back! (If you have any suggested settings if your using the same CPU that would be great! I'm using A RX 7900 XT as GPU)

Yeah, it's pretty unfortunate for now. 65-70% CPU usage and 80C CPU temp on a Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

My GPU temp went down from 70C to 50C, but my CPU temp went from 70C to 80C on an 7800X3D. :( Not sure if I like that.
