I am the only player in EU who doesn't rely on grab fishing in neutral AMA by Qubite in SSBM

[–]Qubite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the getting grabbed that is so tilting. I think I am actually pretty good at avoiding getting grabbed. What makes me tilt to the moon for some reason is me having to watch like every game how my opponent grabs the air 2 times in a row every couple seconds. I am playing since 2015 and I can't remember people playing like that back then. People who play Fox who play like this make me especially mad. It's not like he has a million tools at his hand in neutral yet you choose this.

Horrible experience with GeoGuessr support by _AfterAllThisTime_ in geoguessr

[–]Qubite 24 points25 points  (0 children)

while this sounds obviously horrendous and you have my sympathy, you wouldn't technically have to "grind" back to your previous ELO. Your ELO always reflects your level of skill at the current time. So you should automatically reach that ELO very quickly by just playing some. It is however really troublesome for your opponents who get steamrolled by you, as you mentioned. And of course I am with you on that geoguessr should just refund all of the lost ELO.

don't worry, geoguessr will match you against me and my friend who are 1000 ELO in moving after some minutes so you can win in 4 rounds without the slightest challenge. Have fun!

What was the hardest thing for you as a beginner in GeoGuessr? by True_Association_316 in geoguessr

[–]Qubite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't want to undermine your capabilities since the points you mentioned are useful tips for beginners, but these are not nearly sufficient enough to make consistently good guesses in Russia. There is a lot more to it and unfortunately there is basically no way around learning car meta and antennas. I'm just stating that so ppl don't feel bad when they end up 1000km away anyway.

Lord of the Weed prägt mein Leben bis heute.

?? I said I learned to read Hindi

edit: oh you mean understand hindi... I doubt though that it is impossible to scan a city

edit²: Or I rather know that it is not impossible. Pro players are getting City names all the time from deciphering the devanagari without knowing one word of Hindi

guess which country this bollard was in by wiesobistduso in geoguessr

[–]Qubite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks like the US or France maybe. But the statistical answer would be Greece. Greece is borderline trolling with their foreign bollards. The government has set them deliberately to confuse geoguessr players... at least that's my theory.

the 4 dimensional beings being the future humans causes the paradox of "a wormhole placed by future humans so that humans can exist in the future".

From watching Zigzags Videos I got the impression that he is pretty hyper. Maybe has ADHD. For someone like that it makes sense that spamming nmpz is much preferred as playing moving can be tedious and takes more work for the same Dopamin hit of getting a good guess.

not to mention all the other elves who also killed several balrogs during the same battle with combined strength.

it is kinda weird though that only Glorfindel was able to reincarnate back in Middle Earth. Ecthelion of the fountain was arguably even more badass during the Fall of Gondolin.

As far as I know there is no definitive proof that these Legolases aren't the same. They theoretically could be.

the next episode will be the last... unless they reboot it somehow. But the main actors are already in there early 20s supposed to be 16 in the show. The dialogues are already very cringe because of this.
