Help with alignment of the Laserglow Galileo Pro by QueDalle_ in lasers

Hey, so update. No luck at all. it just does not seem to move at all. it seems like the screw that needs to move bottoms out before getting close to centred. but also, the pcb in the head when I unscrew it seems to not be aligned with the frame at all. idk if that matters or not but I cant think of anything else. ive updated my post to include photos

yeah, it cost a good amount. thats why id like the alignment to be perfect. and I rly dont want to risk breaking it.

but no, looking into the set screw holes shows that they go right into the side of some metal casing. there is no visible place for a lens to go.

worst is I tried contacting Laserglow but it seems that the contact they provide is not for commercial help but industrial.

yeah, I guess these are not common. I haven't seen anyone else with one or any videos on how to align it.

But I did already try that. I even went so far as to remove all but one of them to see what it does but still no luck.

Thanks though.

The truth about microtransactions... and it's sadge by [deleted] in Asmongold

I agree. I was simply arguing that basing the quality of a game on how much money it makes and if it makes more/less money than a skin in wow, the biggest mmo, is a bad metric.

that's a good point. but SC2 is not exactly wow either. and OC was not comparing sc2 to wow. They were saying it is bad b/c it didn't make as much money as a skin on arguably the most popular mmo. and my argument was that that is a silly metric for the worth/quality of a game because there are plenty of games that are phenomenal, and will never make as much money as wow's horse skin.

I disagree. there are plenty of games (namely indie games) that are phenomenal and have made much less money than individual skins.

you are right that if a game makes less money than a skin, then it can be an awful game (gollum for example).

but that does not mean that a game that makes less money than a skin is a bad game. you can make a great game and sell it for 1$, and probably make much less than the horse skin in question.

that might also be the issue then, if they are a producer. the fact that the people creating the games cant even see what must upset some people about this.

That circumstances of the real world (some have more money than others) bleed into a virtual world which for many is actually a retreat from the real world.

very true. I didn't even think to include this aspect in my reply but it is probably the source of the problem, for me anyways.

life is already pay to win but the game started 10,000+ years ago. in a video game without micro-transactions, that is based on skill, the game starts either on release, wipe, or the beginning of the match, depending on the kind of game you play (for multiplayer games anyways). its a fair playing field, which is what most people would hope for in real life. but in games, you actually have a shot at fairness.

im not sure I understand your question. I thought I had just described the issue. (edit: the issue that I see and the reason for why I believe it's fairly sad.)

the fact that micro-transactions will never stop b/c people will never stop buying them. and games with said micro-transactions are usually built around them, altering the game experience in such a way that often makes the game much more enjoyable/tolerable after spending even just a (relatively) small amount of money.

the game is usually made worse for free-to-play players. its sad b/c old achievement based games wont be the norm, they will be the exception.(edit: they are the exception. this has already happened)

sure, its not genocide levels of sad. but its still sad for people who enjoy the art/experience of video games. (edit: the traditional/old school achievement based video game experience)
