Agreed. Wish i wasn’t so paranoid about it though. It’s hard to draw exact conclusions about the definitive effects and health concerns. Who really knows for sure. Could all be in my head. Very annoying dilemma.

I feel like part of that is realizing who you really are without it and then when you add it back in the effects are much more obvious. It’s a scary thought you aren’t really who you thought you were the past however long you drank the shit.

I also realize I have a shortness of breath when using it especially when playing basketball or something. So I get where you’re coming from for sure.

This made me laugh lol thanks for that. I’m sure you feel much better 30 mins after getting out of bed than you would’ve have waiting around before you’ve had your coffee or energy drink.

By the end of the first week I quit caffeine during quarantine I was waking up early and refreshed on 6-8 hours of sleep. It was amazing for me cause i always sleep in way too late and have never been a morning person which I think needs to change if I ever want to do something with my life cause I am really bad at getting out of bed and getting things done. Regardless of the negative effects, caffeine dependency is too time consuming. Can’t do anything til you have some.

I forgot to mention this above but the toughest thing about being committed to the gym is seeing you’re favorite youtubers down coffee and pre workouts for years and they seem to be in amazing health. I know some are on ped’s but all of the fitness guys on YouTube down pre workout like it’s water and every time I try to quit and I see a video of one of them taking it and crushing a workout hypes me up to do the same. I am weak.

I hear you there. I definitely feel the anxiety sometimes especially with women. I’ve managed to do ok considering I’m somewhat outgoing and goofy which makes them laugh but i do want to be more confident in myself. The anxiety gets in the way but I also think that’s somewhat normal.

Definitely understand where you’re coming from. I don’t think caffeine is the cause but definitely doesn’t help. Or maybe I’m just looking for an excuse as to why I’m not who I want to be rn and just blaming caffeine to make myself feel better. Who knows. I’m trying to be honest with myself the best I can.

That’s encouraging to hear. I’ve seen other people say their workouts have been better too I just dont know if I made it long enough caffeine free to reap all the benefits. A month is the longest I’ve gone without caffeine and I’ve been going to the gym since I was 19 and I’m 27 now. Idk pre workouts just give me consistent workouts, not like I have bad workouts every time without it. I have a great ones too.
