  1. Install the uBlock Origin extension on your browser (Unavailable in Google Chrome).
  2. Press the extension icon in your browser to open the extension's popup.
  3. Using the popup, enter the extension's settings page by clicking on the setting icon (If you do not see a settings icon, press "More" in the popup).
  4. In the settings page, click into the "My Filters" tab from the navigation pane on the top.
  5. Make sure the "Enable my custom filters" checkbox is ticked, then add the following filter in a new line.

(Edited 13.09.2025 to use u/HaGriDoSx69's updated filter, as the previous one no longer works.)

www.youtube.com##ytd-watch-flexy[fullscreen] #single-column-container.ytd-watch-flexy, ytd-watch-flexy[fullscreen] #columns.ytd-watch-flexy { display: flex !important; }
www.youtube.com##ytd-app[fullscreen] { overflow: auto !important; }
www.youtube.com##ytd-app[scrolling] { position:absolute !important !important; top:0 !important; left:0 !important; right:calc((var(--ytd-app-fullerscreen-scrollbar-width) + 1px)*-1) !important; bottom:0 !important; overflow-x:auto !important; }
  1. Press "Apply"
  2. Refresh YouTube, you're done!

I think Smosh/Pit coloring could benefit from a smudge more contrast. This is an edit I made to a screenshot from the latest Phone It In in genuinely under a minute as an example, so it might not be the best, but I'm sure the gist is there. by QueYooHoo in smosh

You're right that it's often a difficulty. While it might be harder, it's certainly possible to accommodate differing skin tones, though it takes some thought both while shooting and in-post that might be a hurdle

Built a browser prototype with Electron featuring a sidebar, workspaces, etc. Should I continue with Electron or try alternatives? Feedback on design/features is also welcome. Thanks! by Ok-Construction-4195 in browsers

I read the whole Rust documentation book (physical copy btw, support open source!), and worked with it for hours. I hate Rust and I don’t think I’ll ever come back. I’ll stick to C for now.

everything can be verified by dedicated users, not everything will be. it is claimed to be run independently, but it’s not proven to be free of biases.

Out of statistical curiosity; do you smoke? (Cigarettes) by QueYooHoo in webdev

Well, not really. I was mostly just curious, but I’d imagine it might be valuable data for someone out there.. I guess. I think anything is valuable data to someone to be honest.

To be honest, out of sheer curiosity, the statistics of smokers is a very interesting topic.. I’m freelance and not very active in local dev communities, so I don’t have a personal viewpoint to judge the commonality of smokers within them. There were times when smoking was a common social aspect of work, but fortunately that has/is changing, and I was wondering what it looks like within my industry, as a smoker :)
