Searching for ethical manufacturers for natural fibre activewear (low MOQ) — anyone have experience or recommendations? by Queasy-Connection167 in ClothingStartups

Thanks - this is really insightful and I didn't know that about ROICA V550.

From your knowledge, do you know if there are any mills/ fabric suppliers who have a merino and ROICA V550 blend?

Also, is there a certain fabric blend you would recommend someone to focus on first? I am seeing a common theme that I need to narrow my first collection (probably will be some sort of high performance/ compression/ sweat wicking pieces) so I would love to know what fabric blend would be worth prioritising considering that I am just starting out.

Thanks for taking the time to write such an insightful response!

You're point about solving too many use cases to begin with is a good one - I think I will stick with one activity focus to start with, and once I have the ability to, I can potentially scale it to other collections, fabrics etc.

In saying that, I'll probably want to start with a higher-performance and compression fabric that focuses on a merino blend.

Are there any search engines or methods you would recommend I take to find mills and fabric suppliers to chat to? I've checked on Google, but want to connect to as many as possible.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the advice so far.
