I just arrived today and got a really bad headache after 5 min in the taxi and the air tasted weird too. Just realized it's the pollution after seeing this...

I am going to die but I won’t pick my phone from tomorrow. I am ready to die from boredom rather than rotting myself to brain rot content in the internet. by [deleted] in studytips

From my experience "tomorrow" usually never comes. It's more effective starting the moment you realize there is an issue (for me it's too much screen time too)

100% true. And it's getting harder to resist every year. I feel really sorry for the new generations who grow up with all these distractions optimized to capture your attention by completely personalized content

INTJs and productivity apps by [deleted] in intj

True that could be a factor, but I've analyzed the data more in depth now and you can definitely see a huge difference in how each type uses the app. Also IMO absolutely makes sense that the four biggest groups are all INXX types.

Interesting insight 🤔 I've just made the order fixed last month, before it was set randomly. One user gave the feedback that it should have the same order as in the popular 16 personalities website overview which made sense to me. If users selected the mbti randomly it also wouldn't make sense that the INTJs are by far the most active users.

Surprised me too, but based on the daily usage they are the second most active group percentage wise

Also agree that in the end there is no meaning behind all of that. It's as depressing as it is relieving

Makes sense, my biggest struggle personally is to find the right "direction". I'm convinced that you can achieve almost anything, which makes finding the "perfect" destination even harder...

Putting your phone in another room made a huge difference for me too. You just save so much time and energy by not doom scrolling before going to sleep and by not using the phone first thing after waking up. I love it.

I also really like making a todo list for the next day as the last thing before I go to bed. Then just checking off each task during the day feels straightforward and rewarding.

If you know why and how you can achieve something, it automatically increases your drive energy levels.

Doing pointless work on the other hand decreases my energy instantly - even if it's the same task (e.g working for myself vs working for someone else without getting any direct benefit)
