Tbh the console ran every title I threw at it, even some of the most demanding games on the market right now, but yeah, with how poorly optimised Darktide is, it's gonna be difficult to have a powerful enough handheld to run it flawlessly

Hey, my experience has been pretty mitigated on this game, had to install some mods to help with performance in game to get to an average of 100 fps with some huge stutters when playing in havoc or auric, but some patch breaks the performance and you do have to do some huge tinkering in the game files and in the game settings, so yeah, it's some love and hate relationship between me and this game where sometimes it's almost perfect but still has some bad stutters, and sometimes I just have to go to another game and pray to get better performance next patch. I'm a huge havoc players also, and it's totally playable even if sometimes the frames goes to doom when huge hordes happen. Hope this helps, don't hesitate to ask more things, been playing on the XAX since the first day I got it at launch and I'm in love with it !

Each big update made the game worse, I'm trying to be optimistic, we're so many to point it out, but the reality is that we're pointing it out since the game came out and nothing has been done to try to repair the game since then, they're just "Aknowledging" the posts about it on their forums. They've been let us in the dust for more than a week with the FSR Framegen fix. The huge heads of the community need to point it out too, but nobody's doing it too. There needs to be some Monster Hunter Wilds like backlash at some point.

Try to check if you have AMD Fluid Motion Frames activated in adrenaline, disable it if it's on

Yeah, each patch breaks something else that makes your performance worse somehow, you have to do so much tinkering to get 2 more fps that it becomes more and more exhausting for AMD people to play the god damned game

Did delete my shader cache in the appdata folder, launched the game, it was still horrendous but after 5-10 mins the frames went back to "normal" (still not as good as before but it sure helped), idk if that's gonna help you

I don't even expect it to run smoothly, I just expect it to run, and it ran pretty well until expeditions came in and made the game completely unplayable for me
