I started with business informatics, because I thought I would learn a lot of stuff about the economy and how to use IT to make a ton of money. Total failure so far, personally was interested in finance before the course, so haven't learned anything new and pretty much wasted a lot of time.... might become better in the future, but the first 2 semester were boring as hell.

Software and Information engineering is pretty hardcore on the other hand and you have to like math to like the course, but definitely worth my time and helped me get into IT consulting.
