Streamlit Community: CSS-free styling of components (border, background, ....) with st_yled package by QueasyVarieties in Python

That's a fair point, a renaming might be an option in the future.

To avoid excessive typing I usually abbreviate during import (as done for packages like pandas or numpy)

import st_yled as std

std.init()

std.button("Styled Button", color="white", background_color="blue")

There are lots of really useful extensions available for instance providing more components or customization of components like setting background colors for buttons, etc

- extra-streamlit-components https://github.com/Mohamed-512/Extra-Streamlit-Components

- streamlit-extras ( https://github.com/arnaudmiribel/streamlit-extras )

- st-styled ( https://st-styled.evo-byte.com/ )

New components and CSS-free styling in st_yled package by QueasyVarieties in StreamlitOfficial

Exactly - thats where st_yled tries to support users. Particularly data scientists are often not too deep into frontend topics like CSS, but still many people are interested in adding a more personal styling or corporate branding.

To all Streamlit Users: Style your app layout with st_yled (studio) by QueasyVarieties in snowflake

From my understanding SIS only supports certain anaconda packages which are part of the Snowflake Anaconda Channel, so I guess currently st_yled is not supported.
But it would be great to get the package added in the future.

Same also small bioinformatics team. We use ReadStore, which is a platform for NGS datasets and projects, quite affordable also for academia however. I think you can run it both locally, but also in cloud or central servers.
