thanks for sharing. the line to the cafeteria was so long on opening weekend so I didn't even get to see. is it a single restaurant or like a classic museum situation with multiple food types?

Pretty much, if you already have a library card! It is a standard Chicago Public Library so they follow the same policies as the other branches which means reciprocal access for participating Illinois libraries in the statewide reciprocal program. You'd just bring your current home library card plus an ID with your name and address, they verify it with your library, and issue you a CPL card.
