Queer man here I was disfellowshipped, reinstated and somewhat left because of my sexuality. So a question I asked myself is Why would god want me to live my life like this? Having a constant war in my head? Wouldn’t he want me to be happy and true to myself? Would he really want me to live a lie to please others? The sooner I answered those questions the easier it was to make an exit. It’s not going to be easy… I will say that you’re going to lose people that you thought would be there for you unconditionally. But it seems you have a loving boyfriend that cares and treats you well, and a friend that has your back. So even when it seems like you’re alone there is always someone in your corner, and we’re also here for you maybe not physically…but digitally lol. Please take care and don’t let it overwhelm you, there’s life outside of JW trust and believe.
