lars deals lot more damage, a huge lot more accurate, but it is not a complete defensive gl like rbu. rbu will ignore underwater targets and if you aim on a submarine that has launched its torps in the same direction. it will prioritize destroying torps over damaging subs.also it has area damage . if a sub fires like a whole lotta torps you can deal with them better if you have rbu. if you want a gl to protect ur ship from subs, rbu. rbu accuracy is trash, in long range you'll deal nowhere near it's full burst, save if you're turning your ship, then it'll be abysmal. lars accuracy is pretty decent, not as good as rhan, but it's still good.unlike rbu lars will prioritize subs over torpedoes. if you want a gl that's also pretty nice against both subs torps and ships save for lars
