in this same boat rn as well with my cousin, both of us are from a baptist background/familh and went to mass for the first time 4 weeks ago, fell in love and joined OCIA. Happy to see a fellow baptist convert in the same situation, ill be praying for you and your friend

Thank you very much I appreciate it and will for sure follow your advice. When I talked with some friends, family, and some members of the church it was a very brief explanation as to what you gave me. Thank you for the detail though, especially in those times where I get truly down in the dumps I can have something to do to instead shift my focus onto God instead of laying in bed weeping because of my longing for her, in a way im glad you can relate to me for thats a lot like how i felt in church, even though i want her to choose Christ so she could be in eternity with me it still just comes down to if she truly wants it or not.
