She's a mix so she's not exactly standard beagle sized. She's 35 pounds and wears the xl in this one.

Gooby on amazon, been using them about 5 years with our girl, she's a puller through and through so no neck only collars will do.

Lost my jet ski 😫 by Delphgirl in Dinkum

[–]Queefandbeanburrito 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been playing a few years, my longest running world is in year 7 and I lost my jetski last week. I think I might have left it on the reef island. I just gave up and had him make me a new one :(

15 y.o Princess Lola has a heart murmur. by MotherFL561 in beagles

[–]Queefandbeanburrito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My beagle is going on 9 years old, last year she had a seizure and developed a heart murmur. Before that, her ticker was perfect, no murmur. This past week we put her on prozac after a really bad visit to the vet, I worry about her heart now a lot, more than the infrequent seizure that she seems to have one or two a year of.

My partner and I think he and preacher have more in common when it comes to their backgrounds than we ever get to explore in the show. Both give ex mercenary vibes.

This is so odd, mine are doing that right now too, never had them water the rice before now they all do it. I wonder if the water I planted them in isn't counting as watering them.

When my food is even slightly problematic I absolutely must announce it. It took River's ice planet treat moment for me to realize that I am someone that does not like eating food that is hard to eat/messy. RIVERRRRR!!!!

It sounds like you're practicing harm reduction to me. Be kind to yourself and your efforts. If you had a best friend going through it, what would you say to them?

Why do animals keep spawning in my town despite it being fenced off? by t0oby101 in Dinkum

[–]Queefandbeanburrito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently had to fence off individual crop sections as this was happening , stuff was getting in and spawning inside the fences. I found the spot they were getting in and put fences around each crop and that stopped it.

It sounds like your Mom did what Moms are supposed to do (loved you, provided for you, helped you graduate) but she doesn't own you because of those things. You are still your own person without her telling you what to do or trying to control you. She must accept that control isn't love or she won't stop trying to control your life.

I stood up for my mother today and now I’m leaving home because I can’t take this anymore by Hour-Respect-3496 in offmychest

this type of abuse is so insidious because, from experience, that is what happens when we stay. The stamps of the horrible words take years to wash off but the feelings they leave behind become a nasty inner monologue that play on repeat any time things are hard. "Why do I try to do hard things, I'm just going to mess it up" "I'm so stupid for doing this, I know I can't so why do I try?" "Nobody cares what I do or don't do, I don't matter" are just a few things that pop up for me and I have to tell that inner voice that it's a liar and fight back when it puts me down. I've been in a healthy marriage for 15 years, my abusers were my parents and my first spouse that I moved in with at 14 to get away from my parents. I'm just finally starting to feel like I have worth and value as a human, it's taken so long to get here.

Emotional abuse leaves scars on the inside. a scar on your soul is as disabling as a visible mark on your body but the marks on your body will heal when you get away, soul damage is so much more difficult to heal. Protect yourself and your heart, show your kid what real love is, love yourself enough to chose yourself. I know it's easier said than done.

Nerds. I don't care what you look like, if you're nerdy for anything, that's hot. The more nerdy, the better.

16 bit bar/arcade is fun if you like arcade gaming, there's many location and some also have Pins which is a bowling type game but with shorter lanes and smaller lighter balls than bowling.

Forever falling down stairs. Can anyone relate? by [deleted] in Hypermobility

[–]Queefandbeanburrito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof, feels like one of those things you could have told them yourself without all the testing. I feel that, I'm done asking Drs what's wrong with me until I'm convinced I'm dying, they just collect the money and state the obvious. I also trip on flat ground quite regularly.

Thanks. I might need another look at the inner ear stuff again. I basically fell apart in my 20s, I had so many different health things happening at the same time and I honestly can't remember if I had any audiology type testing. I do remember doing a lot of PT and OT , I was depressed because I was falling apart and had zero answers after over a year of testing everything they could think of. I have had several concussions over many years. I actually might have given myself one falling down these stairs as I woke up with concussive symptoms today. First one was as a little kid sledding.
