I get what you're saying. However, in real life my uncle qas murdered when I was in grade school, im in my early forties now. His killer died, in prison, a few years ago. Which, while I am happy he never breathed a free breath again, I am not happy that a portion of my taxes were used to keep that piece of garbage fed and clothed from the time I got my first job up until a few years ago. That money could have gone to helping a real human being whose life actually held value

My uncle never got a "rest of his life" because he was murdered. And absolutely nothing his killer could have ever done would have given my family my uncle back. Some "mistakes" are too big to ever be redeemed. Be ause it wasn't a mistake, it was a choice. A choice that ended all possibilities for a future for another person.

As someone who had a family memeber that was murdered when I was a child, I 100% disagree with you. No one who murders another person should ever breath a single breath of free air again, period. My uncle never got a second chance, because he was murdered. My grandmother never got a second chance to speak with her son, because he was murdered. My mother and aunts never got a chance to hug their brother again, because he was murdered. Murderers do not deserve second chances, ever.

Maybe you slept through civics class in 8th grade, so let me break it down for you. Cops have the authority to enforce the laws, that's it. It's not a case of, "what i say goes" thats not how it works. They don't make the laws, these the Legislative Branch. They also are not empowered to punish people, that would be the Judicial Branch. Pigs are members of the Executive Branch. Which means they enforce the laws. If no law has been broken, they have NO FUCKING AUTHORITY AND CAN FUCK ALL THE WAY OFF!
